Good luck with finding the right school maddy. Your life is so hectic, I need to go and have a rest after reading all the things you have to do  ;D

We've been watching the Qld election results on TV. I think they hold some clues for all of Australia at the moment.
Maddy, I guess your DD has been thinking about changing schools for some time. It is annoying that she didn't mention it before though. Good luck in your search.

Maddy, best wishes with important decisions you are about to make. Your DD is obviously a special  person and deserves every chance.
We have been in Melb for a couple of days and enjoyed every moment.  Especially catching up with Marina.   We had lunch with a friend at the Melba Restaurant at the Langham hotel. It was a Buffet with lots of choices. The sweets always disappoints although the Bread and Butter pudding with a little chocolate sauce swirled through was outstanding.

Spent the weekend making an applique quilt for GS with tractors and other machinery so not much else done here except a bit of the cycling when I wanted a rest from cutting out little bits of fabric. Still lots to be done.

Well done Troupie, wish I could get my Quilting mojo back. Got heaps of fabric, books & patterns and no enthusiasm. Don't seem to find chunks of uninterrupted time these days.

Katj I just try and have a project organised in a box and just do a bit here and a bit there; I don't usually have a whole weekend to work on it (strange that when I have been retired  for lots of years). I just love working with bits of material. Sat GD down the other day with a bag of scraps and she had fun playing at the machine.

I hope it all falls into place for you Maddy without too much drama. I suppose she had strong thoughts at the end of last year, but was able to forget about it to some degree over the holidays, but now that she has gone back she has fully realised that its not for her. As parents we do the best we can, and I think its especially important to give them the best chance at education that you can afford.

Chookie, little did they know they had the Dessert Queen in their presence so they would have had to come up with something half as good as you would to do something memorable.

He looked so grown up in his uniform, and back pack pack on.  :D
