Today our baby left, we thought we had him until the end of March but not to be.
That is sad Denise. I don't know how you do it.

Yes please I would love to taste your olive brew

Gert
Surely not Gert ;D ;D ;D

Yes Cookie I would like to taste the olives too.

Tonight I have been playing with the sourdough starter (after I had read all 70+ pages of the sourdough thread :P) I started with the sourdough blueberry muffins and the cranberry walnut bread with sourdough. Wasn't sure how they would turn out but was so excited when both doubled in size in the oven. Despite the late hour I had to taste test a muffin. Mmm delish! The big test will be the bread tomorrow. Might have to try the crumpets for breakfast too after seeing Judy's lovely pic.

So many different ways to use our sour dough starter Gayle, it's fun isn't it.

Gert, that is no good about the distillery.

If I remember I will bring some processed olives over in October, then we can all taste them.

I am off to a friends 70th afternoon tea party today; terrible when we all start turning the next big number. My turn next but no party here. Little brother is coming from the East and we both have birthdays in the same month.

Have a lovely time Troupie. It will be nice to have your brother over and celebrate your birthdays together.

I will celebrate slowly; a few weeks to go yet though. There are 4 of us in the family born in April so its a busy (and sometimes expensive month).

I'm in April too Troupie will be celebrating my 66th. I still celebrate as I don't feel that old. Or should I say young.

Today I have been tidying the house for DH while we are away, doing the ironing I need to take away, a trial run to the airport as there are massive roadworks out that way and they close roads when they feel like and I will pack before I go to bed tonight.
