Denise, your chair is truly a work of art. You must be so proud of it and yourself of course!

Denise the chair looks amazing,  I also have never seen the sunrise pattern. Give yourself a pat on the  back, it's well deserved.

Denise what a beautiful chair. The caning is very eyecatching. You are very clever.

DH has gone out on a search for Model A tools. I'm not sure how many he will find as they are from cars built in 1928. 1929, and 1930. He said he has a lead and has taken some other ancient junk old tools to trade.

Shame you can't relax Wonder but a nice environment to work I guess, cold though.
We had a lovely day down south on Sunday checking out DS and Fiancé wedding venues.
Not a lot getting done here other than cuddles.  Such a beautiful little fellow, he's got our heart already.
Denise, you are so clever. Your chair looks amazing.

CC your chair is amazing.  You are a very talented lady.

I had a CT scan yesterday to see if they can find out what is causing my chest pains.  My results were good but could have been better and there is not too much to worry about yet so it seems that the pain is not all from the heart.  My poor little nurse must have been a beginner as I think she used me for needle practice, she missed the vein on both occassions and I have a couple of lovely bruised arms.  A senior nurse took over and I never felt a thing.

Not the best day I have ever had.

The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Being a special day, I hope today is much better than yesterday then Margaret.  It makes a big difference when you get a good nurse who can find the vein.  I remember one who tried 7 times with Geoff before getting someone who managed to find a good vein on her first shot.

Oh mab they should let the young ones practise on the young ones. I do hope things turn out ok for you.

I had another injection in my hip for bursitis. Third time lucky I hope. Get the back sorted and the hip decides it needs attention. this morning I am spinning over to have my eyes checked again for glaucoma. June and December seem to be when I have all my checks. We worked it that way as we are usually at home in June and December.

Hope everyone having tests thi s week come out feeling positive.
DH took the morning off work, we went to a talk at the over 55 place that we will most likely buy into in a couple of years. The talk was called Patio to Plate and the main speaker was telling everyone how to get the most from gardening in a small area. Very interesting with lots of tips on improving our crappy sandy soil in WA. At the end they served everyone a box with morning tea in it, small damper made with fresh herbs, piece of frittata made with home grown cherry toms, spinach and herbs. To finish was a chocolate eclair filled with a lavender scented (from the garden) cream. Very nice morning indeed!
