It's gorgeous Margaret, one down - how many others need finishing I wonder.

The quilt is gorgeous Margaret, I have just finished reading a book about the Amish Quilts, very interesting.  :)  So much work, no wonder they are expensive to buy.

Your quilt is magnificent Mab. Such beautiful colours. What are you going to do with it?

DD and I went to the Good Food and Wine show today, then stopped off in the city for a while. We tasted some beautiful cheeses and bought quite a few. Some lovely sheep ones from Tassy. A few from Bruny Island too.

Beautiful work Margaret, a work of art.
Em me, I've been to a few Amish farms in the USA and seen there Craft work. Not only do they excell at Quilting, a lot of the men make beautiful furniture. I really admire the way they live their  simple life, don't know that I could do it.

That is a stunning quilt, Margaret, I am sure you are very proud of the finished quilt.  You are very clever.  I wish I had the patience and the talent to do something like that, but I am afraid it is an impssible dream for me.

Thanks for the comments on the quilt ladies.  I don't have any plans for this one so I will put it back in the cupboard with some others. I just like making them :)

Emme and Katj, I love the quilts the Amish do they certainly excel at what they do.
