The quilt is gorgeous Margaret, I have just finished reading a book about the Amish Quilts, very interesting.
So much work, no wonder they are expensive to buy.

Your quilt is magnificent Mab. Such beautiful colours. What are you going to do with it?
DD and I went to the Good Food and Wine show today, then stopped off in the city for a while. We tasted some beautiful cheeses and bought quite a few. Some lovely sheep ones from Tassy. A few from Bruny Island too.

Beautiful work Margaret, a work of art.
Em me, I've been to a few Amish farms in the USA and seen there Craft work. Not only do they excell at Quilting, a lot of the men make beautiful furniture. I really admire the way they live their simple life, don't know that I could do it.

That is a stunning quilt, Margaret, I am sure you are very proud of the finished quilt. You are very clever. I wish I had the patience and the talent to do something like that, but I am afraid it is an impssible dream for me.

Thanks for the comments on the quilt ladies. I don't have any plans for this one so I will put it back in the cupboard with some others. I just like making them
Emme and Katj, I love the quilts the Amish do they certainly excel at what they do.
