DH & I took GD nearly 3 to an indoor play centre. Great for her, but not for Nanna, I rolled my ankle (don't ask). It felt ok and I could walk on it normally till later thisafternoon. Now I can hardly put my foot to the floor .DH went and hired some crutches for me. If no better tomorrow I suppose I will see about an x Ray?

Oh Katj, how horrid. Do get it checked out. The friend I mentioned to you that broke his heel, has the plaster off and now 6 weeks in a moon boot. I do hope you are ok.

Oh no Katj, sounds painful. I think the X-ray might be needed. Take care and hope it's all ok.

I haven't been to the Doctors yet. It felt a bit better this morning. I can flex it up and down, but sore going side to side. Gradually getting better as the day goes by, and I have been in the kitchen most of the morning. DH is at the chiropractor, has had a bad back since we got back from Melbourne last week. He never gets so much as a sniffle and with 15 weeks leave accumulated he was told he HAD to some holidays, always the way, take time off and something happens I.e back.

Poor DH. I hope he was able to get some help. I'm glad your ankle is showing some improvement.

DH and I went to the dentist today for a check and clean. Fortunately neither of us need any further work. Only our bank account needs a bit of help.

I need more than 1 crown. Am on top health cover and out of $1800 quote for 1 crown and $400 health benefit refund --- I am thinking I may just go to Croatia where dentistry is very very cheap and very very good comparably.  We have relatives there who will be able to say yes this dentist is good and this one are good and no these are better. If I can have a holiday at the same time as saving money (ok I may not be able to smile while they take all my teeth out)  I will.

Sounds like a plan CP.  I sometimes wonder why I bother paying as much for health cover.  You get so little back.

We are lucky in Cairns to have the School of Dentistry. Free for me and state of the art

All moved in and feet up. Lovely.
