Ankle pretty good this morning. Probably a 9 out of 10 as far as mobility. Very happy!
DH got manipulated at the Chiro, feels sore but a bit better.

Phew CP. My mouth is worth a fortune as I have quite a few crowns done over the past years.

Gert the dentist and relaxation both sound perfect.

BIL & SIL have taken our girls out for the day, DH has taken my little brother (who is living with us ATM as he has severe depression and by doctor's orders should not be alone) out now, so I have free reign of the house, all cleaned and tidied again, and have started cooking  ;D

Dancing this morning for youngest miss, soccer for master E, markets for fruit and veg, watching FNQ heat later this evening play. We also have two students staying with us until the end of the year. A full house :)

We had the AGM for the car club today. We had a sausage sizzle for lunch. It was very enjoyable with lots of lovely people to chat to.

Glad to hear you are all moved in Gretch, hope you find a couple of like minded friends. I'm sure if you haven't you will have the nurses giving you special attention and privileges very very soon. Have you taken TM with you or is it silver service only?

CP I ain't ready for the nursing home yet. This is an over 55's independent living village. http://www.oaktreegroup.com.au/cairns-villas.html

I have my own wee villa and no next door neighbours just yet but will soon.  I am sure they will not  be as nasty as my former.

Yes I have my TMX and will be getting back to reviewing the Cooking for You and Me book soon. Still tweaking the place and phone will be on today hopefully. Had to leave Telstra until last as I knew I would need all my mental strength to deal with them.

Jaxon is settling in very well. My dishwasher not installed yet and is sitting in the middle of my garage so can't get into it yet!

Are you going to take up lawn bowls Gert?  I'm glad to hear Jaxon is happy with the move too. I wonder if there are any other TMX's in the village.

Hi AB. I have noticed you 'lurking' from time to time. Are you still coming up to Forumfest?  I hope so I'm looking forward to meeting you.

Gert it is all sounding pretty good so far. I'm sure there are like minded folks there. Do they have a pool? I guess so, at least you don't have to clean this one and you will have someone to come and get the snakes out of the pipes.

I have just ordered a panel blind to replace the dark drape they provided and I am replacing all the blinds with roller blinds the same material as the panel blinds. Life is too short to be cleaning venetians.

There is a pool supposedly solar heated but seems chilly to me. No  to bowls but not totally firm on that.

No snakes so far.

I agree with you Gert and life is too short to be having to wash heavy drapes too as you get older. I did away with mine years ago.

Congrats on the new home Gert. I've been cooking and washing all day.
