DH and I are just back from a varoma demo. It was really good. DH loved all the food bar the green smoothie. It's amazing really, DH loves going to the demos but has never used the thermomix. I've come home all inspired to to make better use of the varoma. Off to look at the thread and the varoma challenge we did quite a while back.

Sitting at the airport in noumea waiting for my flight to Sydney, hard saying goodbye to DH. All going well he will be sailing into Brisbane in just over a week. Had a fantastic holiday, everything is still rocking lol. No news in two weeks. Lot to catching up to do.

I'm always up for a coffee cookie, I'll be in contact. Worst qantas flight ever, we were packed in like sardines, couldn't even recline my seat, very small plane and it was an international flight. Now waiting for my next flight.

Welcome back Jen, glad you had a lovely holiday.

My first day back at work today, feeling tired as I had gotten used to doing nothing! My hand is sore now, but ok. Got some lovely flowers from one of the girls from work, which brightened my day.

Day 1 was always going to be difficult Katie but hopefully you didn't overdo it today and each day your hand will become a little stronger.

Am I imagining it or is the new plane etiquette in cattle class to not recline  your seat at all to keep everyone happy? I got on a flight at 1:30am and after not having any sleep at all in the process of getting to the airport and boarding I was not allowed to recline my seat even though I did not want a meal and just wanted to go to sleep. The person behind me was up in arms that I did so and I was not allowed to recline my seat to try and get some sleep until she tapped me on the shoulder and said OK. I think that is wrong.  Why give people a reclinable seat if they are not entitled to roll it back whenever they want? (I'm also saying at this point that I don't recline at all except on a night flight)

Welcome home Jeninwa, I'm glad you had a lovely holiday.

Katiej, take care with your hand and don't overdo things.

I had a quick trip to the supermarket early this morning as DD and children are coming for lunch.  Only bought a few things and I couldn't believe what it cost.  Why is everything so dear these days. >:(
