CP I'm like you in that I rarely recline my seat. I don't fly late at night either or I would need too.
I must admit I have had people in front of me recline so far back that I can almost touch their head. They get a few swift kicks in the tail, with a polite request to sit up a little.

I have been Babysitting youngest GS 13 months. DD took oldest two GK's to a gymnastics programme. While he slept I managed to hang out washing and pack a box of glassware, they are moving on Thursday. We have all heard of the expression Organised chaos, try dis-organised chaos.
DH and I will have them all Thursday while the move takes place.

Yesterday was the first flight ever that I haven't been able to recline my seat ( cause the seat  wasn't make to recline) . Most times during meals you are asked to put your seat up, but night flights that I have been on they don't seem to worry. last night during the announcement they asked that people didn't sleep on the floor, gave me a chuckle. Nice and roomy flight back to Perth with plenty of leg room.
I've had a very lazy day, I should have gone to the shops but couldn't find the energy, fridge is very empty. But I'm only cooking for me for the next couple of weeks. First time ever.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

I'm glad this flight was much better Jeninwa. Were you tempted to sleep on the floor?  They actually said the same on the way home from Melbourne. Perhaps people are beginning to do it.  :D ;D

Went to Sydney yesterday to spend the day with DS. Great day, forgot how busy Sydney gets.

That would have been  lovely Mich.

A little bit of excitement for us. Our car club has requested that anyone who wouldn't mind their 1930's car being used for a documentary in a couple of weeks to let them know. Many of our members don't like to do this as their cars are pristine. Ours isn't so would be fine. They have told us that an actress will be driving it!!! This is really funny as they are not easy vehicles to drive at all. Lots of levers and double de-clutching. Also the accelerator is in the middle and isn't really a pedal, more like a stick thing. It could be funny.
We have just received an email to say they will be ringing us today to see if our car is suitable. At the moment many of our members are in their old cars driving from Perth to Ayers Rock directly. They will then go on to Alice Springs and up to Coober Pedy before coming home.

It will indeed be a laugh cookie, perhaps she is just going to sit in it and the surrounding area will whizz by.  They can do clever things these days to fool us. I hope they find your car suitable and that they pay you well for using it.

The lady concerned rang earlier and said our car is suitable, but the director has the final say. I don't think it is a very big budget show. It is about a German man who said he discovered flight before the Wright Brothers. The same company make the TV show "Who do you Think you are?"
Judy we decided that if our car is chosen we will donate the hire money to research at the Children's Hospital here.
It will be exciting to see if it goes ahead. DH told them he could teach the actress to drive the car but she would need to practise.

You're halfway there then cookie, fingers crossed that the Director agrees.

What a lovely gesture that would be to donate to research.

We got the ok this afternoon. It is certainly exciting. It is to be filmed on Sunday 11th this month. DH said it felt really good when he told them that he wanted the hire money to go to Princess Margaret Research Foundation. ( the children's hospital research section).
He fully we will be able to take a couple of photos.
