Had my first teaching interview today at a school I really hope to work at. Fingers crossed!

Like Chookie, I've finished with all that now. The interviews can be nerve wracking though. Thank goodness I was the interviewer for the last umpteenth years I worked.
I do hope you get it. What age children do you work with?

I'm a beginning teacher, completed my postgraduate diploma of education last year. I can teach primary and secondary, but I'm applying to a special school that I did practicum in last year and really enjoyed. I probably won't get it, but it was a good experience.

Been to our post office box today - lots of books for me (I can sneak them in whilst Richard is away!)
Bourke Steet Bakery from the lovely and generous Michele  :D
Delicious book for renewing my magazine subscription
And Tenina's vegetarian cookbook - my copy is number 9 of the 150 she released early.

About to meet Judy for lunch, but after that I'll be settling down for a read.

Looks like my kind of afternoon Katie, enjoy lunch with Judy.
We are now live on realestate.com and open Sunday, so lots of fun here. The photographer came and turned us upside down and I don't particularly like what she produced.  Seems an emphasis on making a big house look bigger.
Have a good day all

Hopefully it sells Bedlam. Katie what a lovely haul. I'm hanging out for AA's book and Tenina,s Christmas books in hard copy. I'm sure you've had a lovely lunch, now curl up and read.

Bedlam, tell the agent if you don't like the photos.  Our photographer had to come back and take more photos. You have a right to veto anything you don't like including the text. It is your house and you are paying.
Katie, you lucky ducky.

Katie & I had a nice lunch and she bought along her copy of T's Vegetarian book for me to have a browse. I was also given a colouring in book to keep me occupied.  It's always nice to catch up, thanks Katie

Judy and I did have a lovely lunch and catch up.  It's always great to chat with Judy.

As we were leaving from lunch, I checked my phone and I had a message saying there was a parcel for me at our PO Box. It was my new AA cooking school cookbook. No golden ticket inside, but I did get a nice note from Alyce (the message stems back to when she released her first book years ago and my copy went missing in the post).

Sitting back with a cup of tea and my new books  :D happy!
