Cookie, my DIL works in ED at our local hospital is always telling DH that anyone over 65 should not be up a ladder.  She sees the result of too many accidents by older folk.

I always feed the tradies as well Chookie and they never say no :)  When we extended our old house the builder reduced our bill by several hundred dollars and said he put on several kgs as well. :) :)
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Sold my lovely car today. I got less than I wanted, but when I think about, with the refund on my unused insurance and not having to buy another roadworthy certificate next week, it's close to my hoped for amount, so I'm happy!

Now I can just relax and enjoy my beautiful new car without the guilt that came from seeing my lovely Getz in the driveway, not being used.

That's great Sarah, enjoy your new car and hope that the new owner enjoys your much loved Getz as much as you did.

Trying to finish some Christmas sewing but I am one of those people who get side tracked pretty often so things are going slow.

Home safely. My nephew was there to help watch over DH. Margaret your DIL is so correct, I just wish I could knock it into his head. A good friend came off a ladder several months ago and was out of action for 3 months or so. He just won't listen. 😁😁😁😁😁😁

Chookie I hope you have managed to get through the traffic. Great news about your Getz Sarah. What sort of car is your new one?
Your tradies sound lovely Chookie. We always feed ours. It's the least we can do. When our solar panels went in several years ago, I fed them and DH took them for a ride in the old car. They eventually said they had to go as they were late for their next job.

Great news that you sold your car Sarah :)

Glad you made your appointment Chookie. You have a wonderful relationship with your tradespeople. :)

My DH is the same Cookie.Never seems to listen to my concerns when he's up a ladder or doing stuff on the roof. :-))

My new car is a base model Qashqai, in RED!

It's beautiful, but it unfortunately shows dust and dirt more than my lilac blue Getz did! My girls are 7 and 8 and I wanted a bigger car, but not too big. It's very beautiful.

Here are my two lovelies. The Getz is ten and a half years old.

Love the red one. It nearly matches my red terror.

Lovely car Sarah.
Cookie, good to hear your DH's job on the roof is over with and he's safe.
I had 3 yo  darling GD today. Such a cutie and knows so much! She's dead to the world now, I will take her home in the morning and then go Christmas shopping with DD, SIL will be babysitting.

The highlight of my day today was a shiatsu treatment.  I've had such a sore neck and shoulders recently that I was desperate to get in and have some work done on them.  I've booked another two appointments before Xmas ... bliss!
