The condiment set is beautiful Judy. I've enjoyed reading through all the sentimental things that bring back memories.
Judy, your daughter would probably love to receive the crystal bowl.
With all my decluttering, one of the strangest things I can't get rid of is a piece of wedding cake from 1980 when married to my late husband. Don't know how many moves and freezers it's survived.  :)

I think that is fair enough Mich. It is of many memories past.

One day you will decide about that piece of cake Michele, it obviously has lovely memories you are not ready to part with yet.

Michelle, it is not strange to keep the cake, if it makes you happy to keep it for now. You will know when you are ready to part with it. Your memories must be very happy ones and that is lovely.

Michele, I agree with everyone.  There are somethings we do not want to part with. You will do so when you are ready.

This morning I finished a baby blanket for my eldest GD.  It's only 20 years late  ;D ;D.  All my GC recieved one when they were born except the first one, I was working in those days and not much spare time.  This one has been a work in progress for most of last year.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

I am sure she won't care that it is so late - in fact, she will be of an age to treasure it more now.  It is a stunning blanket and I am sure its day will come when your GD has her first child.

A little bit apprehensive at the moment - off to the neurologist soon.  Hopefully nothing, but I have started shaking / trembling over the past while ... not going to think about it until I get results of tests, etc.

Fingers crossed for you Marina, it's only natural to worry about these things.  Hopefully they will have some answers for you.

Gorgeous blanket Margaret, never too late for such a beautiful gift

Oh Marina I sincerely hope everything is ok. My thoughts are with you and take care.

Beautiful blanket Margaret.

I had plans for this morning but we needed to get a few things emailed out as we are sort of organising all those car club members driving to Darwin this year. We need to be in Katherine by 22nd May. Not good weather for travelling as it will be hot and wet and possibly cycloney. If that is a word. The computer hated me too as when I saved 3 documents it didn't save the contents. I said damn, blast and bugger and proceeded to do it another way. All done and emailed now.

So that's how you speak to a computer when it's playing up cookie, I must try that next time LOL.

I took Mum for her heart check up this morning and visited an 'old' carer friend this afternoon, something very much overdue.

Some nice, steady, soaking rain this morning for our needy gardens - who doesn't love that.

More wasted important time on the computer for this trip to Darwin. I didn't get to bake as I had planned. Oh well there is always tomorrow. DH will be at car club.

Thanks everyone for your positive support, you are all great.  I am hugely relieved that I am not heading towards Parkinsons, which was my big worry.  Apparently I have "Essential Tremors" and it is not uncommon.  It will neither get better nor will it get worse, but seeing as it is not at all bad now I am very happy at the outcome.  Happy, smiling me tonight!!!
