No unfortunately Denise.   She came out of retirement to run our nursing home for 18 months or so when the last DON left so she will be retiring again when we move.

Sarah did you like the Cheesy Pumpkin Puffs?  It's hard with kids. I think DD took vegemite sandwiches for at least 7 years. With a little apple pie to follow!

I liked them, but I would spice them up a little bit. Would you believe that my children don't like apple pie? Or any pie? They don't like pastry either. Or custard. I keep telling them that one day they're going to kick themselves for wasting the opportunity to eat yummy food so often.

What do they like to eat Sarah?  I remember tearing my hair out thousands of years ago when DD would only eat peanut butter, bread and milo. I was told don't worry, but it is hard.

If they had their way, they'd live on nuggets (at least I can make better versions of them), chips, ice cream, spaghetti noodles (no sauce, and don't dare to give them zoodles), chocolate and two minute noodles (don't try the marginally healthier version of this either). And of course lollies. They will eat rice, and meat, provided there aren't obvious vegetables in it. And they devour bread by the bucketload. Lisa will only have jam sandwiches, and Kate will only have Nutella ones. I can get away with toasted cheese sandwiches, but not untoasted. And the cheese can only be Kraft cheddar slices. Boring!

What do they have for breakfast Sarah?  Will they drink fruit smoothies?

I took a friend shopping for curtains today.  Her car is in the garage and today was her only free day.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

That was kind of you Margaret. I whizzed up to the local shopping centre this morning. I was only going to be a short time, until I ran into a friend. I eventually arrived home. It was lovely chatting.

I've been to my probus meeting then lunch with some of the girls, on to see DH and Mum, picked up the final 6 bags of bark and scattered that around whilst my window cleaner did his thing.  Now, sitting with a nice, cold drink and my feet up.

They've gone off so much stuff. They say they'll drink smoothies, but then they drag it out. Lisa will end up drinking it over an hour and having had so little that it's all separated. I'll get there one day, I must keep faith. Kate's at a Joey Scout sleepover tonight, the first time she's ever slept away from home. It's a district one, so they're all coming from neighbouring suburbs, but they're just down the street from us, so we walked there.
