Nice to catch up.
Sarah, don't stress, your girls sound pretty normal. GS went through a stage of eating only Weetbix and anything in bread crumbs.
Judy, your garden is so tidy. Good going with the wood chips.
More packing and cleaning.  Kat, how are you going. .? We do a final inspection of our new place on Monday. Settlement on Friday. Will stay for the weekend following settlement.  May be AWOL from Forum on and off.
GD has already booked herself in to stay.

It could be an interesting night Sarah, the first night away can be a bit tricky.  The food issue will be interesting too, maybe she will try something different on the sleepover.

The back garden was looking a bit tired Chookie but I'm very happy with what I've done this week.  I have another area to do now but will wait until this next round of heat before even thinking about what to do there.

Being so near DD and the grandies in your new house will mean a lot of sleepovers I'm sure Chookie.  Good luck with the move.

Your girls sound normal to me Sarah.  Two of mine were very picky and now eat everything.  The eldest DS ate anything put in front of him and his favourite was cauliflower and peas.  He is now an excellent cook and shares the cooking at home.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Kate survived the sleepover, so she will be able to go to Kangaree next month, which is a one night camp in Warragul.

Your garden looks so neat JD. That's great news Sarah
DD and I went to an edible blooms class this afternoon, it was a lot of fun.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

That looks lovely Jeninwa. It's funny DD and I were just looking at classes for when she is on holidays. Any ideas?

What a great idea Jenny, I love the idea of edible blooms.

Today I planted spinach and spring onions, a ground cover and some flowering perennials to add a bit of colour to the garden.

We had a breakfast run in the old car today. It started at 7.30 which meant waking up early. We prepared everything last night so didn't need to do much this morning. It was beautiful as it was cool and by the river. There was about 22 vintage cars turned up and a few modern ones. Lots of good company and fun.
