Did you use the TMX Michele?
No, we don't on purpose because it may put people off that don't have a TMX. Everyone demonstrating has a TMX and about 1/2 of the 70 people attending the class have one. We also make everything gluten free too as so many people choose not to have gluten in their diets. If only they knew how easy it is to make your own flour in the TMX much more economically.
We have burnt out one of the kitchen's food processor motors already.
Lovely cakes Cookie. You have inspired me to take a baking classes. I have enrolled in Anneka Manning's winter pies and tart class. I'm taking my son's financee with me. My DD said it would be a waste of time for her as she has coeliacs and I couldn't get a commitment that far ahead from the step DD's.

Mich the classes sound as though they would be extremely helpful to lots of people. I have just bought Anneka Manning's latest book.
We went to another couple of cooking classes today. It was 2 half day classes. The morning was Dim Sum. We watched things being prepared and then made them as a group. We then ate what was prepared. Not quite as hands on as the others we have been too, and a lot of time spent watching. I was fairly disappointed in that class. We had pork buns, ( the dough was a yeast dough and nice), pot stickers, prawn something's and duck in rice noodle pancakes. Also calamari tentacles deep fried.
The afternoon was a high tea class, done along the same lines. It was pretty good though. Small bagels with smoked salmon and cream cheese, lemonade scones with chilli raspberry jam and Cointreau Chantilly cream, mini chocolate and cherry cheesecakes, and a cheddar and spinach mini quiches. It was all very nice. It was served with tea, coffee and bubbles.

Imagine we all lived closer, we could swap our bits and pieces that we no longer wanted. I love the name 'table top' sale. It sounds so perfect.
Judy, no more classes as such. Next Saturday we are going to watch a lady decorate cakes or something. I'm not sure , DD arranged that one. It's been fun but I am quite exhausted. An hours drive each way to the big ones, and being constantly on your feet from 9-4, with only 15 minutes or so for lunch. To think I used to do that. Poor people that do it at work.

Another great class Cookie.
Judy, I had my eye on the footed bowl too.
Went to Steamfest today. It's been a very warm day. 4 locomotives raced each other (said to be a world first) and of course the race between the steam train and the tiger moth. Great day and had lots of fun.

The sale was held in village hall at Butlers Cross near where I live Chookie.
The footed trifle bowl didn't sell Judy.Maybe I priced it too high.
If we lived closer I would let you and Michele arm wrestle over it LOL
Sounds you had a great day Michele

The Steamfest sounds well worth attending Mich.
Today was the annual check over day for our old cars. Most of them are on concessional license and therefore need to be checked annually by the club. Most of the men make a day of it and chat and share car talk.
Oops, for some reason the upside down, sorry.

Yes, ours passed with no concerns. They are all spotless CC. The guys wash and polish them to within an in h of their lives for this. They don't want the guys that check them to get any oil etc on them.
Next weekend we are displaying our cars at a Classic car show all day on Sunday.
