Today, DS came and did a lot of technical stuff.  I really don't know how we oldies are supposed to move into this modern age with all these things.
We now have a land line and 2 extensions. Need to use it to get used to it.
Have NBN, wonderful fast stuff. And 1000 mg. But will need to let people know our new contacts, although old .com still ok, we think.
We also have 6 months free films, but can't work it!!
DS on phone trying to talk us through it.
GD made Fried Rice for lunch while I made KFC. I made Mango fluff and we also ate chocolate B and B pudding.
Then we had a surprise visit from our next door neighbor.
All good but both exhausted..

I'm with you on modern technology Chookie but at least you have an expert in your family.  It sounded like a very busy family day at your place.

Did you have a taste of anything she made cookie?  From all the classes which did you prefer, hands on or just watching?

I enjoyed the full day classes that were completely hands on, however I also loved yesterday's where it was all demonstration. ( less $$$ too). Yes we tasted all the bits from yesterday's class. The cake was lovely.

We took our old car to the Classic car Show today. It is a display of all sorts of cars and of all ages. It's really good. I met up with 3 kids I taught as they were running a coffee cart with their parents. That was lovely. The weather wasn't brilliant but I think everyone had a good day.

Chookie I would be totally lost if I didn't have DD to help me with IT.

Gorgeous cars, Cookie.  Is one of them yours?  Whenever I see a beautifully spruced up "old banger" on the road I always think of you ... come to think of it, I saw a couple yesterday on my way home - it was a stunning day to be out and about, taking a leisurely drive in a classic car.

Lovely photos Cookie.
My DH is my go to man for tech stuff, trouble is because he's always there to do it, I tend not to let it sink in to my brain, then have to ask him over & over. I don't think he minds, lol.

Lovely cars Cookie.  We saw some nice "oldies" on the road when we were travelling.

Thank you everyone. Marina, in the second photo the front burgundy one is ours. All the other cars in the photo are in our club. We have about 90 club members, some live in the country and some don't really participate in club outings. We had about 15 turn up yesterday which wasn't too bad, as you had to sit there all day. We usually have about 20-25 cars on each months run. Like all clubs there is a group that are there everytime.

Had my hair cut this morning.  It was well overdue and I now feel respectable. :)

I had an unexpected visit to the doctor and x Ray place this morning. I twisted my foot and somehow managed to break it. A bit of a nuisance. Moon boot time for a while, about 6 weeks.

Oh Cookie that is really awful.  What exactly is broken? Don't try and do too much.
We had Bruce and Mandy and Bruce's brother from Perth, for lunch today. Great company.  The oven and I are finally coming to an understanding.
Had an inspection at Cherokee today. Maybe.
