What lovely prizes they had for the winners of the quiz night Katj and a great way to meet the neighbours. Well done to your table.

Thanks for your comments on the electric frypans girls, do you remember those ads for an eggy dish made in them?  Today we would probably call it a frittata but I can't remember what they were called way back then.

I still have two electric fry pans.  One came from DH's work and the other is my old one.  I use them both at Christmas time to roast all the potatoes.

I was expecting visitors today but they have cancelled because of illness.

Congrats on your win Katj and a great prize you choose. :)
I've never owned a electric frying pan but they sound a great gadget to have  :D

Congratulations Katj and the prizes sound wonderful.

I went out to the physio today. Gosh he can hurt, but it is so beneficial.

As the saying goes Cookie, 'no pain no gain' a lot can be said for a good physio, worth their weight in gold.

I love my physiotherapist even though she hurts me!  She apologised for it last week so I asked her how she knew it was so painful.  You stopped talking she said. It is hard to speak if you are holding your breath!

I'm amazed that the physio can find the very sore spots by just feeling. Over the years I've seen a couple of physios but this young man is brilliant.
I hope your shoulder is improving Judy.

Katj, what a great win. Nice prizes.
Yesterday contacted lots of places with change of address and planted some seedlings.
Today cleaning out chook shed and freezer and fridge.
I have never been to a physio. Sounds useful.

I met Katie for lunch today, we haven't done that for a while.  Went to the Palais at Semaphore, love their new dining area (not that new, it's just that we haven't been there for ages) and we were very impressed with the salad/veggie bar as we've never seen roasted beetroot or heirloom carrots on offer anywhere before.  It was lovely.

Too cold yesterday to clean out chook shed, might do it today.
Sounds like a nice lunch, Judy and Katie. Love roasted beets.

I took advantage of the nice day and washed the bed linen.  Then down the street to do some grocery shopping.

Mostly food shopping done here today and now to finish off pillowslips for the childrens ward at Joondalup Hospital; made from beautiful fabric from Textile Traders and also from Katj; many thanks Katj your fabric is being put to good use. I have also finished the top of a quilt to go to the womens refuge; more to come. Lovely prize Katj.

Interesting to hear of the physio; Dr want me to go and have some on my arm but I opted to try to strap it first for a try.

Spent a lot of today cleaning out the chook shed with DS - he bags the chook manure to sell , and eggs . The chooks love roaming around us . Had to go along way to get fresh hay for their laying boxes . Nice day for it . We even had to get gravel to fill up pot holes and block up spots were we think mice are getting in . Fresh grain for them and water, a bit of shell grit hopefully that will stop them creaking their eggs . DS has sold a lot of eggs and has saved up for a Grandpas feeder , maybe we might get one tomorrow at our local sheep day tomorrow !
