I went to Tenina's class this morning. I was so excited!!! And I was lucky enough to win the lucky door prize! So many tips but for me I think the most valuable was the making of meringue. I never bother in the tm but after today I may well give it a try!

Lucky girl Jamberie, let us know how your meringue goes when you make it. Congrats on the door prize too!
I still haven't tackled meringue, as I hate wasting eggs and I know it will turn out perfect with old electric hand mixer.

I need to plan a few meals for the week, DD is having an operation on Wednesday and won't be able to lift or drive for 2 weeks. Between SIL and myself it will be a busy time with 3kids. 2 y.o still very clingy to his mum, will be interesting.

Katj thank goodness you live nearer your DD now. I hope everything goes well for her.

Jamberie congratulations on the door prize. I have made meringue successfully in the thermomix by following Tenina's instructions exactly. The Killer Vanilla icecream is lovely.

Nice to catch up on all you have been up to.
Life has been busy here for me with one thing and another. Did spend a lovely afternoon card making with friends today.

DH dropped a large jar of pickled onions on Saturday evening. Of course it smashed into tiny glass shards. I think I've got all of those but I have washed the floor 3 times and it is still sticky. I might put the steam mop over it tomorrow and see if that helps.

All the best with that one Cookie.

Went to CWA meeting today. Lovely bunch of women that are so knowledgeable and have years of experience.
Very blessed that they are so generous to pass it all on.

That looks delicious. We aren't vegetarian but I find us having more meatless meals than before. To think that 20years ago we probably had 5/6 red meat meals a week and the others were chicken. Maybe it was because I was given meat fresh from the farm. 😄😄😄

Nice produce mcmich.  My GF is a vegetarian and I love eating at her house.  Sadly DH is a meat and 3 veg kind of bloke but I do manage a few veg dishes occaisonally.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.
