You're a bit of a softie cookie but I agree, it is nice to do good turns for others.

Cookie, you can't go to Busselton and not visit Simmo's. I'm sure you will both enjoy your new van.
I hope your little birdie is talking to you again Cookie.

The budgie is well thanks Katj. I loved my Simmo's icecream. We ended up having that for lunch!

We went to a 70th birthday today. It was lovely. Held in the garden of one of his daughters. It was sort of high tea. We were seated at a beautifully decorated table, even the chairs were decorated. All of the food was in bite size pieces and beautifully served by the grandchildren. There was so much food, they will have leftovers for a week.
The only thing that didn't co operate was the weather, it was very cool, windy and sprinkled with rain a few times.
The daughters and wife had done all the cooking..

A lot of work for high teas cookie, glad you enjoyed it.

I packed up Mum's room as much as I could and organised for one of the workers to bring 2 lounge chairs back to me as they'll be having all new furniture in their new home.  Will tackle Geoff's tomorrow.

Good luck with the moves Judy, you certainly have a lot to do!
I made a birthday cake for a friend a couple of weeks ago, and in return she gave me the Tupperware Snack Press...I'll have to give it a go and report back.
I also gave our pantry a massive tidy up....I didn't realise I had a collection of condensed and coconut milks in the back, I think I'll be making lots of slices and curries in the near future!!!
Still some consuming/cooking to do until I'm completely happy with it, but now we know where everything is!

What a tidy pantry. Mine is desperate for a good clean out. I did  one shelf a few weeks ago and that put me off doing the rest. Everyone just throws things onto the middle shelf, including me. DD buys weird and wonderful things that get used once and then hibernate. I would qualify for the untidiest pantry around.

Our whole pantry was a 'chuck it in and hope for the best' affair until last week when enough was enough. I had heaps of Tupperware I needed to use and like your DD a whole heap of 'one off' ingredients. I found the tubs with handles (top shelf) and the baskets good for keeping like items together...but time will tell!!!

CC I am very lucky to have such a big pantry but still dreaming of my future 'walk in' pantry where my appliances and food are all at arms reach 😄

Jam, what a good job you have done. I am used to having pull out draws for everything but at Invermay there are mostly shelves. I bought 3 lots of 4 deep plastic boxes from Office Works and like you have organised things into each.

You must be very pleased with your efforts Jamberie, it looks great.  I have a few baskets in mine too, it keeps things neat and more compact.
