Yes Judy, I slept like a log. Feel better today, maybe just a nanny nap.

Started the day with the hot pools at Moree. Have crossed the boarder and staying at Condamine for the night - very basic accommodation. A one horse town and pretty sure the horse is dead.
Big day tomorrow heading for Rockhampton. Loving caravan life.

Michele, sounds great.
More unpacking. Have promised myself an hour in veggie garden today. Also to bake some Chocolate chip biscuits.

Glad to hear you're enjoying the caravan Michele.

I've caught up with 2 friends at various times today, had lunch with one and made 2 trips to the nursing home throughout the day.  So busy down on the foreshore today with a kite festival and people just wanting to be near the beach on such a lovely day.

I thought I would share what DH has been up to lately. He has changed the car from left hand drive to right hand drive, re-upholstered the seats, re done the lining of the car, taken all the panels off and straightened them and is now re painting them. The car was green before. I'm very proud of him. We will possibly get it licensed in a few months.
Before he started on the body work he re conditioned the motor. He still has a bit to go on it.

Brilliant work, it amazes me how people can transform rust heaps back to their former glory.

What a great job - well done Mr Cookie.  It must be very rewarding to see the results of all that labour coming together and ending up with a classic like this one.

Thank you all, I think he is pleased that it is coming together at last. The next one is in bits, on our patio. It's going to be buck board. Similar to the one in the photo. It was a ute when we got it, it had been a car and was cut off during the war as you received more petrol rations if you had a ute.

When the black one is finished Judy we will have to get rid of either that or the burgundy one we drive now. It will be an extremely hard decision. Then I hope down the track we will keep the buckboard.
