We are in Exmouth at the moment. Have been out and about as we haven't been here for about 29 years.
The first photo is taken in the Shothole Canyon. We went for a little walk and you can see the Red Terror there.
The second photo is the Western side of the Exmouth peninsula.

I've been quite proud of myself Judy. I haven't done heaps of walking but the walking I have done I haven't got puffed or anything.   My treadmill has helped me heaps.

Lovely photos Cookie.  Reminds me of our trips to the west.

Thank you. We are in Dongara tonight and will arrive home tomorrow. It is very cool compared to what we have become used to.

Our hot water system blew up yesterday, so had to call the plumber.  He is always very prompt and we now have a brand new system and my bank account looks a bit sad.  He told us a funny story about another couple who had their system do the same thing and four days later they still can't decide what brand to buy.   :-))

It's something that needs replacing immediately Margaret, I usually just ring the gas company and ask them to replace it.  My HWS here is now 24 years old so I imagine it won't last much longer. I don't understand why it would take so long to decide what you want, perhaps finance is a problem for them at the moment.

Brr! Imagine being without hot water in this weather. When we lived in Carnamah we had a teacher house. The water quality in the town was very poor and caused the hot water to literally blow up regularly. We would report it but then had to wait until the plumber from a town about 100km away was coming down and could bring a new system. We would have all our pots etc on the stove heating water.

DS and I went to visit a new grocery store ( Marks and Spencer Foodhall) that has opened in his home town. I bought a couple of items but DS said it was too expensive for him. We then called in next door to a Homebase Store ( like your Bunnings) where he bought some strawberry plants that were reduced.

CC, DS shopping is the sort of shopping that I like to do, although we have a rather special shop in Ballarat called Wilsons. They have very fresh veggies, fruit and delicious small goods. I go a bit mad when I go there so try to limit my visits.

We finished unpacking the van, got most of the washing done and popped over to some friends to take them some fish that DH caught in Monkey Mia.
