Yes the coloured lids make matching easier.
Today I am collecting all my baking tins and trays together and sorting them out. The Creswick Swap are setting up a collection of kitchen items , so will donate excess.
I am gradually getting pantry goods together and making spaces. Nice feeling.
Yesterday I discovered I had 3 packets of raw sugar, all opened. Made raw caster sugar in TMX.

It's that time of the year again to go through all my wardrobes & cupboards chookie. I've made a start on the fridge & freezers, have to get that done first.  Each time I do it I get rid of things, no point keeping anything I haven't used for years.  It's only when you toss it out that you need it LOL.

I have a bagful of plastic lids in the pantry, I don't understand why the containers themselves have gone missing.

That is a strange one with the saucepan lids Chookie.  I've never washed my baking pans in the dishwasher, probably because of their awkward shape for stacking.

Yes Judy, took 3 loads because of the awkward shapes. Tomorrow table linen.

Geoff was having a day in bed today, he looked very comfortable!  I decided I could therefore have an early minute or two from my daily visit so that I could come home and clean out the pantry.  2.5 hours later and it's looking good, my back is not happy with me though.  Next job will be to hit the plastic container cupboards and drawer early next week.

Well done Judy.
I didn't get the linen done as we dropped a load of fire wood off at daughters and then decided to go to Creswick for lunch. Had lunch and a leisurely look in the shops, ( it is like a mini Daylesford) and bought some seedlings from the community garden table. Celery, beetroot and cabbages.  Also bought some French pastries from a shop run by a French couple.
On returning home spent a couple of hours in the veggie garden.

Beautiful day here today - I've just about finished all my cooking and clean-up so will head out into the garden to get some sunshine, fresh air and peace.

DH is up in Guildford with me this weekend and we are working on the on-going battle we have with cleavers - such a prolific weed and a real nuisance.

Cleavers are good for you when made into tea. Chooks love it. But it is a nuisance in the garden as it sticks to you when you try to remove it. Good luck Marina and DH.

CC, love your name for Cleavers. We call them Sticky Weed. Think I like your name better. I'll be Louis does get a laugh from this.
Spent all afternoon in the garden. Think I have planted out some seedlings too early. Covered then with plastic containers.

I spent a little bit of time in the garden over the weekend and attacked some weeds then planted a couple of flower seedlings just for a bit of colour.  I'm paying for it today as my knees and back are very sore.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Mab, know the feeling I ache in all sorts of funny places.
Planted some seeds today.
Not very good at this. Seeds usually grow tall and flop over. We will see.

I've made some SD rye bread to take away, a loaf,of everyday bread to leave for DD and some Choc Chip biscuits to take away. The washing and ironing, cleaning and packed the van. I need my little holiday now!
