Thanks everyone. We are in Westonia tonight. It's about 3 hundred and something km east of home. It's about 9 km off the main highway and is a tiny town near a gold mine. The caravan park is brilliant.
Marina we are going on a historical tour of the Goldfields here. We will start from Coolgardie (tomorrow) and head out to Menzies, Laverton, Leonora and round there. Probably ending up in Kalgoorlie. Not great kms but lots of history.

Cookie, your holiday takes me back to the days we lived in Kalgoorlie ... many, many years ago.  We went over there to earn the finances to put DH through his college course ... the tall tales I could tell of life in the goldfields!!  Have a great time.

Good morning all. I am trying to catch up on everything. We've been keeping our motorhome very busy lately. Just got back from a roadtrip up to the Undara lava tubes in far north Qld and then back home through outback Qld and NSW. Had a great time but now it's back to reality with a big thud

Cookie your trip sounds great. Will you go to the Ballard sculptures? I would have loved to see them. Looking forward to some pics of your adventures. Have a great time.

Sounds fun Chookie. I have a bay tree in a big tub in the courtyard. When you have one within easy reach you wonder how you managed without it. Leaves go in the chooks' nests, in the carpet freshening powder, linen storage areas and of course in the cooking.

Hi Gayle. Yes we hope to get out to Lake Ballard tomorrow. The road was closed yesterday but it has been re opened.

Rained on and off most of the day. Man came to check out the AirCon. Went shopping. Tomorrow making Sweet Chilli sauce.
