I hope she turns up Marina!  Take a book, sit back and relax on the train trip and hopefully it all goes to plan.  I too have never tasted a summer pudding!

Marina, that is very inconsiderate of that person I do hope she turns up.

Just tidying up here today, I need to keep on top of everything before going in to hospital.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Gosh Marina some people!!!! You are very good to take it down to her, but then I would probably have done the same. Service is important, even when it is a jolly nuisance.

I popped down to the supermarket to get a couple of things this morning. I'm glad I didn't need any fresh fruit or veggies as there hasn't been a fresh market here last Saturday. There will be one tomorrow so things will be better.

Good luck with your trip to hospital Margaret, I hope it’s nothing major.

We have finished the 3 k of prawns and the 6 k ham has nearly gone.  Saved the bones for pea soup .  The Turkey mostly went on Xmas day.  I am glad there is not much left over. It is Salads this hot weather.

I went out to the local Westfield 'this morning. I wanted to pay a few bills, things like water, phone and my RAC membership. I had a look around and chatted to the people I know who work there. Not as busy as last year but a lot of people are boycotting it since they started charging for parking. I picked up a couple of makeup bargains for DD.

Does your shopping centre have a 2 hour free period cookie, our Westfield does. It also has a 90 minute free section too which is mainly the area I use as I only go there for something specific usually.

I don’t know of any shopping centres that charge for parking.
As it’s cooler I will spend some time in veggie garden.  Need to pick more Raspberries and baby spinach.
I haven’t been cooking as it has been too hot.
Yesterday we covered the peach tree with netting.  All the fruit trees had been neglected by the previous owners.

Our Westfield has a free 3 hours Judy. It's plenty as long as you aren't having lunch or anything similar. I usually have no trouble.
DD and I went to another big shopping centre this morning. She has a birthday coming up and lots of makeup people etc that she buys from have sent her birthday vouchers, so she traded those in on goodies.
I received quite a few gift cards for Christmas but didn't spend any of them.

Cookie, don’t you just love gift cards.  Ral gives me one for my birthday each year for DJ in Melbourne.

Enjoy it while you can K Atie.
I'm off on a search for a West Coast Eagles calendar. I am positive I bought one for DD but it has disappeared into thin air.  I doubt if I will find one at this time after their successful year but I feel awful.  I have this niggling feeling that it may have been in a Christmas bag I gave to my BIL.  I don't like to ask as he is a footy tragic too and probably loves it.
I'm putting it down to old age itis.
