Chookie, Cooper and Ral both look like they are having a bit of a laid back sort of time!!

Our holiday is just about over so today is 'clean the house' day.  Yesterday I had to go in to Bendigo to arrange a bank transfer to our builders so that they can (finally) start work on our extension / renovation on Monday ... it is finally going to happen after all these years of talking about it, planning, set-backs, re-designing, etc. etc.etc. ....

Yes thanks Denise, I found a calendar. I must have visited at least 6 places before I found one!  Next year it will be first on my list.

Cooper is obviously enjoying his spot there Chookie.
Marina are you excited?  It must be rewarding after all the planning etc.

An exciting time for you Marina.

Just doing some laundry and a little bit of ironing.

Thanks for all the good wishes.  The building project is both exciting and daunting - I will be glad when it is all over in 10 - 12 months!

I have spent the morning trying to get my landline phone to work properly - unfortunately mobile coverage here is sporadic and that makes things so much more challenging and frustrating, consequently, my cleaning schedule is blown because I am having to spend my time by my computer waiting for the next email from the provider to arrive with the next set of directions - if only I could use my mobile phone this would be all cleared up very quickly. Ah well, such is life (I wasn't looking forward to doing the cleaning so I guess you could say that every cloud has a silver lining  ;) !)

Cookie, glad you found your calendar.
Marina,  anything is better than cleaning.
We went grocery shopping this morning.  And so did most of Ballarat.  All trying to avoid the heat tomorrow.  A great many legs of ham and legs and shoulders of Pork reduced in price. I didn’t buy any.

I did my grocery shopping this morning too. I popped up to the Italian deli first as they had cherries for $7.99/kg which is almost unheard of here. They are from Manjimup where they have farms and orchards etc.

Dropped DD and two friends to a Pilates class this morning , they loved it . Then met them for a bite to eat, beach walks , lots of fun had jumping off the pier , made a batch of very healthy gingerbread bliss balls . Back on the ferry this afternoon, which was sad but pleased they had such a great time . I managed to read a few pages of my book . DS stood on a bee 🐝 at the beach so there was drama for a little while , dosed up on antihistamine and pain tablets and cortisone cream . All ok now .

We had a friend come over this morning with his old Holden. He and DH had a drive of each other's car. They are both gorgeous, but his is extra gorgeous.

Last days of our holiday - washed everything I could get my hands on ... 5 loads!!!   Went a bit overboard because I wanted to take advantage of the hot weather to quickly dry everything.  Started the house cleaning, will finish the floors today then head back home tomorrow.

Spent most of afternoon in garden. Will do same today. Will make bread rolls for GC.

I have placed the recipe for the Feta, Ricotta and Spinach Triangles on my Blog.  I haven’t posted the recipe here as there others  similar,
Although the Blog process that I use has improved in relation to posting photos, it still has some bugs.  I was unable to finish the recipe for baking instructions which I have placed at the top.
