Chookie the peaches look bliss . Yesterday went to Melbourne as DD wire on her brackets was yet again digging into her gums ! Back to have dinner at the sailing club , beautiful food .

I went to the podiatrist this morning, then did the food shopping and then to the GP. He wants me to wear a 24 blood pressure monitor as he wants to put my medication up to a higher level and I don't want him too. I hate wearing them as they measure your BP all through the night too.
I'm also due for my dreaded colonoscopy, those 5 years went very quickly.

DS went out fishing with his uncle , two flathead and his one nearly got into the boat . Thus I cooked four fillets for DS , nothing like freshly caught fish .

I finally took up the hems on a pair of jeans that I had bought. I find it a very tedious job and had taken me ages to get the enthusiasm to do it.
Cleaned the bathrooms and did a load of washing.

Last night went to see the film, The Favourite.  Loved the sets and costumes , acting good but thought the plot lacking.  Getting extra critical in my old age. Did check out the historical context and was fairly accurate.

Colonoscopies are horrible ... but better than the alternative if you don't get them done regularly.

KAtie after catching our own fish for many years we sold our boat a couple of years ago. I find it very hard to enjoy any bought fish now. Salmon is the exception as we never caught that of course.

Denise I detest taking up trousers too. It's a job that I always have to do too. Lately I have been buying 3/4 trousers and they are full length on me.

Marina I totally agree.

Cookie, I also buy 3/4 slacks.  Great.
It is our 55th Wedding Anniversary today.  Think we will go out for lunch somewhere.

Thanks for the good wishes for our Anniversary.  We drove around some Ballarat countryside that we haven’t had time to visit.  Had lunch with locals at a Cafe in a small town.  Had a talk to an American who told us AUSTRALIA is the best country in the world and how some of his relatives want to know how they can get here.
Also did a big clean out of one storage cupboard.  Feels good.

Busy Day organizing DD DS to pack up . DD is not well with head cold but managed to do lifesaving patrol from 1-6 pm . DS and I went to the beach . Both decided they would go for a swim after patrol well DS stood on another bee !! DB went to his aid and he is fine. Brought a quiche for dinner with salad . Tried to get everyone to finish packing  . So today we will catch the ferry then drive home to help with the last of harvest . Hoping we have enough room to squeeze in a food as the fridge will be bear . Now DM can rest once we have gone !
