Thanks for the good wishes for Ral. The Dr decided to split the first treatment in 1/2.  Not sure what this means.  As they have said he will be there for most of the day, we have assumed that the drip will be 1/2 pace.
I like to alter recipies, add things too. DH just laughed Saturday when I told him about the TM6.. :)
Ral just said,  do you want one?

I always alter and add things . Hope Rals treatment all goes well. Moved sheep across the road again this morning, it was my turn to make sure there is no traffic, all good but my heart raced . Had lunch out with girlfriends for one of thier Birthdays . They all said they don’t like doing it either . Late shop home late . Feed the Bantam ,she landed on me last night as it was late and hungry .

That’s great that Ral can go home at night Chookie, you don’t get much sleep in most hospitals. I hope he doesn’t have to be back too early the next morning though.

Chookie, I hope everything is going well for Ral.  Good that he can come home to sleep.

Day one is almost over for Ral. DD said it wasn't unusual to split the treatment over two days.

We went to the dentist this morning. No repairs required, just a scale and clean. Our health fund picked up almost all the cost. The next check I think we have to pay more.

Hope today was not to bad for Ral . Warming up today so out in the garden tending to my herbs , lots of weeding around pots and vegetable beds . Yet again I waited all day for DH to move another mob of sheep across the road , I knew they were going to be difficult, was I right . Sheep in two directions cars trucks .. image of me jumping out of one car forgot Fluro vest and phone left car going , running down the road bad idea they went further . DH said get the Ute it was parked on the side of the road with kelpie barking ages away . Now at this point I am not displaying the best running technique as I thought I may trip and hurt my knee ! Ute action and kelpie delivery. Back to close gate they came through and telling cars to slow down trucks stopped ,me in the middle of the road . ( now DS was being kindly picked up by friends DH at bus to go to fire brigade practice .. he and his daughter were in one of those cars ) embarrassing. Sheep finely went across and into paddock. Yes that lemon cordial was nice once home .

KAtie, I feel for you.  We often helped BIL shift his sheep.  It was hilarious but stressful at the same time.  There was always one that wanted to do something different to the rest.
Ral had a much better day. The Dr is very pleased and Ral less stressed out. His platelets have improved.
He thanks everyone for their concern and good wishes.

We went to the Creswick Farmers Market today. A month ago Ral could not walk around but today he was on his feet for about an hour.  This is such a relief.

GD came to do some cleaning.  Cleaned our hideous black and white bathroom with its massive black spa bath. Cleaned the kitchen window, changed the linen and made up a bed, swept the paths around the house, carted some boxes up to the back shed and then stayed for lunch.
She has her learner certificate so let her drive the van home.

Glad Ral had a nice time at the market . I do laugh rereading what happened . I managed to miss the moving next mob of sheep this morning as DD had a netball game . But at when it was dark tonight DH rang to ask all three of us to go outside and stop the sheep going around the house and out on the road ! Nice warm night for it ! All three of us were in our pjs   Nightie for me , great . We did a great job they went straight into the home paddock. Now I think DH is testing me but it was DD that was the star as she went in the dark to shut the gate . Lucky it was warm tonight ( let's hope the cars that I saw liked my summer dress, hee hee )  Off to fire brigade comp in the morning at Beaufort for DS .

Wonderful news that Ral's strength has improved a little.

I had my colonoscopy the other day (good results) and some how or other they seem to have done something to my leg/back. It is hurting like it did a couple of years ago. The nerve in the front of the leg seems caught again or similar. I have decided to do my walking in 3 separate sessions     to try and release it. Not fun. But I will get there. I'll be able to walk by the beach in Busselton.
