Thanks Judy, I did look at this recipe.  I think it is lighter than the one I bought. I will try one out tomorrow. Let you know.

We went out for coffee with friends for DH's birthday. I think that is the end of 10 days celebrating.

Cookie, when we celebrate for days, we call it a Birthday season.  I try to make mine last a month ;D

I think that is definitely what we will have to do. It’s fun.

Well another trip to the dentist for DD , catch up with a friend for a quick cuppa , visit DM so DD could show off her lastest outfit ! Home late feed Pepper , who was crazy with energy , meanwhile DH had gone north to a field day . Next few days are madly busy really crazy , including uni open days , Sheepvention, two funerals , then following weekend a 60 th and a Uni Open day ! Life is nuts .

We took the old ute on it's first run that was more than ½ km from home. DH changed the gearbox the other day and is happier with the replacement. We went to a coffee run, organised by the Vintage Car club.

This is one of our Model A members who came along with his car this morning too.

Thanks for the photos Cookie.  Love them.
Gardener came yesterday.  It was 1 degree when she arrived.  Had coffee and a chat until it warmed up a bit.  She does so much in  short time.  We are very lucky to have her.
We are in for a very cold week.
