Judy, speak to the social worker.  They have volunteers who may be able to pick you up and take you home.
Or get a taxi to get there.  I found that after the event there is a sense of relief, not so anxious, not that it hurt.
Spoil yourself.

I have been doing a bit of reading lately.  Just finished Scrublands by Chris Hammer and before that Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens and The Bluffs by Kyle Perry.  I thoroughly enjoyed all of them.

Judy ask at the radiation place. Over here they have volunteer drivers that pick people up and take them home. I’m sure they will be pleased to help.

My first appointment is for an hour cookie as I’ll be seeing nurses etc before the treatment so I’ll ask them. I’m pretty right now but just in case someone can’t make it on a particular day it’s worth asking.

It sounds lovely K Atie.

Not a lot done here today. I watched my football team be beaten by very little.

I'm taking advantage of the windy day and have washed some knee rugs, they should dry very quickly.

Yesterday DD had her last English Sac yippee. The year is fast concluding and that is scary in its self . The isolation is so hard as you see no one and have no communication with other parents re how they are all going . Just a few words when you use to do the shopping or at a school event made you realise that all is normal , just like a messy teenagers room ( sometimes) . Not seeing family all this time is hard too . But we will all get there slowly .

Yes, K Atie, we will get there.  When I am fed up and frustrated I just think "this is better than the alternative" ... and I think there are a lot of countries in Europe now paying for opening up too soon.  I know it is incredibly hard but I am sure it is the right way to go.  I do feel sorry for those businesses who are struggling, or who perhaps have had to close up completely, families finding it hard to be cooped up together in a small space with no respite, people coping with COVID itself or other illnesses ... so, so many people who are doing this so hard.

K ATIE, I think it has been a very hard year for the year 12’s.  The good thing is that Uni studies will mostly be on line next  year and the students will be familiar with the process. What they will miss is the social interaction with other students. This is a great loss as this is a very important part of their education. ,
As Marins says, we just have to stick with it.   I think the World is going to be a very different place when we emerge from this Virus.
