Saturday today and so far I have been so busy during lockdown that I haven't had a chance to get to any of my own work ... today is the day; I am looking forward to having a clear desk by Monday (I hope).  I have warned DH that I am not going to do any work for him this weekend - we'll see how long that lasts, he ALWAYS has things that need to be done ... STRAIGHTAWAY!

Judy how did you cope with the walking etc?

Brilliant news about Ral's platelets. Fingers crossed they stay as good or better.

I have basically bludged around today with a bit of cooking here and there.

I did it quite easily cookie, I’ve been walking to my local shops every day so I knew my pace had gone up quite considerably on that 7 minute walk.

I just had Katie & Richard around, I was having iPad & phone problems and Richard is so good at fixing those things for me.

Marina I hope you achieved some of what you set out to do for yourself this weekend.

I seem to have accumulated 4 bags of carrots.  Thought I might Spiralizer some and add to everything. Yesterday was beautiful, but today windy and a bit of rain.

Your arm will drop off after spiralising all those carrots, Chookie  :)

I haven't done much again today. My excuse is that I haven't finished my book club book and I need to get it read. It's quite interesting, I just left starting it too late. I did do a load of washing as they say it will rain tomorrow, there isn't a cloud in the sky at the moment and it's 4.30pm.

Great excitement today.  Went to Bunnings.  Went late, very few people there. Stacked up on potting mix, snail killer, rat poison, organic weed killer, plant food and some seedlings. Should keep me busy for a while.

It's good to get out, Chookie.  I don't think we are allowed into our local Bunnings ... all contactless "click and collect" - that's not as much fun as roaming around looking at everything.

What a bonus Chookie . Time for DD and I to do the shopping. A few things for DH Father’s Day . DD got to go for a walk with friend , good for the soul .  Now the boys have gone for farm business... looking at a digger , really is that a thing . I managed to get a few things but really needed a lamp shade and forgot it is in a home wears shop that has food in it to .
Dressed up saw no one . Now to unpack the shopping and do all daily jobs .

The ironing, washing and vacuuming. DD rang about 10 and said she had been sent to the Covid clinic. One of her co workers was concerned with her hay fever, which is fair enough. She got tested and sent home. She will get the results tonight. She was told no close contact u til the results come through. Her house members don’t need to isolate unless she has it, which they were pretty sure she doesn’t. Which is good as we have a car coffee meeting tomorrow.

Sounds like DD is going to be fine, I certainly hope so.  I think we are all becoming worried and concerned about every sniffle, which isn't surprising these days, but your DD is especially vulnerable in her work.  I am sure she will get a negative result.

Cookie, all members of our close family have been tested. All negative.  DD doesn’t work when GC are waiting for results.  They have got much quicker with results. Hope  all ok at your end.
K ATIE, you all seem to be coping well.

Yes thanks. A negative result. Even though we were all sure it would be negative it was slightly concerning waiting for the result to be tested through.

This morning we went for a coffee run. It was pouring so we took the EJ Holden.

Good news Cookie.
Watching Le Tour.  Just love the French country side. This time we are seeing places we haven’t been.
I’ve planted most of the seedlings I bought.  Also some more peas.
We have 12 ducklings on the dam. So very cute.
Received delivery of Coffee beans from Melbourne .
Extremely windy overnight.
