K ATIE, remove your sick chook if you can.  We also have a sick one. Old age in this case.
I’m not doing much. Have read a book a day for the last 10 days.
Rals increasing his cooking list.  Toast and vegemite now.

You'll have to watch that man of yours in the kitchen, Chookie, looks like he is going gang busters with his adventurous cooking!

Wow, toast and vegemite. That is a really tasty meal and I love it. Well done Ral.

KAtie your chook couldn't have been bitten by a snake could they? Poor thing. I started to watch a vet thing last night, but couldn't watch the poor animals. I can watch people being operated on but not the animals.

I've been doing a bit of cooking today.DD had to be at work at 5am. I didn't get up but even though she tried to be quiet, I heard Nic talking to her.

Cookie I did think that but cannot imagine it would survive, maybe or it could be a possum but no possum poo there .
The other night we left the curtains open till we heard a noise and then a possum and a baby one on its back stared at us with their big eyes and nosies .

We have very few possums round here, they are mainly down south. I do find them kind of cute.

They were cute but can do so much damage too.
Yet to check chook today but she is moving around a bit , eating drinking so all good signs .
Just checked Chook she is hobbling around, seems to be much better , mind you she try’s to  flap her wing to balance when moving slowly . As for the bantam she is brooding and I am always move her off the other hens eggs . So it goes from supporting DD DS inn line learning to chook caring ! So that’s my silver lining today .
Have to find a silver lining as I’ve had this Covid lockdown for everyone, it’s just like pushing through quick sand . But it’s ok to feel frustrated it is what it is .

I am with  you, K Atie, I just hope it will all be worth it, I don't know what everyone would do if we had another wave and had to go into some sort of lock down again ... let's just hope a viable vaccine arrives before that happens.

Definitely hoping for a vaccine. We have had another ship berth here today with 24 cases on board.

I have been hearing about all those ships coming in to Fremantle, Cookie, it's a huge worry but I think your authorities are on to it and keeping a close eye on the situation.  WA is doing so well so fingers crossed that that will continue to be the case.

Could not believe the mess with NZ and other states and the ships in WA .
Chook not moving much but gave her a big drink and some grain , there is only so long I can keep helping her but we will see.

We took friends out for coffee this morning. We had planned to check out a new place for a coffee run for the car club. However we couldn’t find a park within a kilometre of the place. I don’t think it will be suitable for a car run as a few members have trouble walking any distance. I will have to look for another one.

That's a shame Cookie but how good to be able to scout locations and try their coffees.  ;D
