What have you been doing today?

That's good to hear K Atie.
DD and I went to Nobu for lunch today. It was lovely. They have been booked out but she managed to get a booking for her holidays.

After a quick visit to a dear friend home in time to prep for dinner. We had smoked salmon blinis while watching DD’s Boardinghouse year 12 farewell dinner ! So the new normal  virtual event . It was with great pride seeing her give a speech on her year as boardinghouse captain and her co captain. DS had to watch with the younger boarders in another room , he was a bit sad that he could not be there , this is how it is though at lest no one is missing out . We did say now we don’t have to drive home . Happy kids all round . The year is coming to a huge ending and although DS will still be there it is so hard as we have seen none of the other parents .

DD and I went to DFO and Costco today. I didn’t buy anything at DFO but topped up with dried cherries and cranberries as well as some Calleabutt Choc chips.

Went to do a bit of shopping with DH . Very cold day again , a little rain . DD is getting ready for her last official day of school tomorrow! Then a group of 10 will go out for dinner . DD will not be able to party on with them as she is not 18 quiet yet ! Feel sad for her . That’s life .

Hairdresser and Dr.  MRI results.  Minor damage.  Keep taking pain killers. 3 days on, 2 days off.

Good news Marina.
Getting ready for next week.  Monday we are having a Birthday lunch for friends. 5 in total. Haven’t seen them for 6 months.
Tuesday, gardener is bringing her 2 boys.  We will make pizzas for lunch. Friend staying overnight Monday.

DIL called in this morning for a coffee and to check up on us.

I had my hair cut today and then did the shopping.

DD Year 12 Valedictory service and speech day all on line today ! Very pleased we watched it all .

We have 2 funerals next week. One is my brother’s FIL and the other my Mum’s sister. We have only heard when one of them is, hopefully they aren’t on the same day. If they are we will each attend one.

Empty house and DH said he would like to go for a drive , but is hesitant to do to much even said about a holiday feels uncomfortable to stay where other people have been!!
DD had a good night she had dinner out with friends . It was nice when she got back to boarding house she FaceTimed me and chattered about her day night while taking off layers of makeup ! Hopefully she had a good sleep and actually gets some work done today .

We are preparing for Monday and Tuesday visitors.

We had a lovely day out today. We all met at a car club members place for morning tea, a bbq lunch and then afternoon tea.
Both funerals we must attend are on Wednesday. One at 11am and one at 2pm. Hopefully we can simply move from one to the other. I will pack us a light lunch to be consumed as we drive from one to the other.
