Today was stressful waiting to find out about lockdown, thankfully it’s lifted and wearing masks is all we have to worry about that’s a good thing . Cooked today too . Washed a lot of clothes , think DD is packing her whole wardrobe ! Made a dash to collect our worker so she could have a Ute to get home after harvesting late tonight . But I was meant to be at bookclub zoom , just arrived late .  Tidying up ready for an early start to Melbourne for dentist and visit DM with DD . Have a huge issue to get DS to school too , now there needs to be a roll the eye emoji now !! Hopefully DH will do this but we have trucks coming and he is very up in the air about it ! Desperately need it to cool down so I can shovel dirt to the chook house there seems to be huge holes , think mice or even larger mice have a warren underneath, need gravel too but DH is to busy so just cross my fingers it will be ok .

Good news you are out lockdown girls. Long may it last for you.

I went for my first vaccine injection today. I was given the Pfizer vaccine. It all ran very smoothly. I had to sit for 15 minutes before exiting the vaccination center as a precaution to any reaction to the injection, DH has his booked for Saturday. We never know what vaccine you will get it’s all down to what the centers have been supplied with that day.

That is a huge step forward, CC, hopefully things will now start getting back to normal - or COVID normal, anyway.

That’s great Denise.
How many TMX’s do you now have cookie and are they all lined up on the bench? I guess you will be cooking more than ever now you have a new toy to play with.

I had my hair cut today.

CC that is very good news. The Pfizer vaccine has just arrived in Australia. Let’s hope it brings help to the world.

I have 3 Judy. I have popped the 31 in the van permanently. This morning I vacuumed and washed the floor and played with new 6.
This afternoon I went to the eye specialist.. I have to go back in 6 months as he said my cataracts will need doing soon.
At the moment I’m holding onto the phone waiting for Telstra. I have been on hold for 40 minutes. DH’s iPad no longer works on 4G. It says no service‼️

Usual walks with Chance. It’s mild weather here at the moment which is good. Did a load of laundry.

All very quiet here.
DD took GD to settle her into Uni.  Her room is small but lovely.  The La Trobe campus is quite different to Melbourne Uni with its old classic buildings. Lots of lovely gum trees and open spaces. She sent lots of photos as they moved around. GD said she is glad she didn’t take a Gap year.

DD didn’t have a gap year. I’m very glad she didn’t. Friends boys did and although they earned money for uni in their gap year one of them found it hard to settle back into study.
They felt their boys matured a lot in the gap year which was fair enough. Girls seem more able to accept more study and move on with their lives.

Today I took DD to her uni college Mannix , big day . DD was apprehensive but lots of reassurance and what looks like an extremely busy schedule ahead for O week . We did a shop on the way yesterday , fan bar fridge. So pleased we did it all so today was just easier. Feels strange to be on my own but that’s fine . Saw DM yesterday and this morning DD wanted a big hug from her . So the journey starts .

Be brave KAtie, it must be hard.

This morning DH wanted to go and buy a gadget to find out the weight the caravan is putting on the tow bar. I went with him and called at a little market nearby. I bought some lovely looking rye flour there. Local too.
