Looks like rain most of the day.
Yesterday I planted Kale and Rainbow Chard seedlings.  Also planting up lettuce that I have grown from seeds.
More green tomatoes. Cakes ?

That sounds rather involved Marina.

I've just caught up on some housework.

Supermarket shopping this morning.  Everything is getting so expensive.

I totally agree Mab. I did my grocery shopping this morning. I rarely buy soda water as we have a soda stream, but I did notice that Woolies had put up the price of theirs by 25cents. Things don't go up a few cents it is lots. I found that Jatz biscuits went up 50 cents some time ago. heaps of things, not to mention meat and fruit and veggies.

Been very busy looking after DM , it’s all about making sure she has protein drink and some kind of food . Today we got out to have a blood test and also get a pot plant for her new bright red daisy like plant .we had a career come today DM not that happy but we need peace of mind that’s she is eating something, taking tablets is a harder tarsk  as they are not nurses ,so not allowed to give her medicine!
This arvo o got my feet done , had to be very firm with DM and tell her to have her small serve of soup while I was out . We had a lovely short walk afterwards. Do laugh DM eats half a dozen oysters each night , amazing what the body craves .

Visited the Hygienist today. I hadn’t been for 16 months because of Covid.🤭 She was pleased that I had done a good job keeping my teeth and gums in good condition during that time.

Well done CC.
Last visit to Physiologist. He said to just keep doing the exercises. Pain will completely go. Then reduce exercises to once or twice a week.  They take about 10 minutes a day and don’t require any special equipment. I can’t believe that in 4 months the relief of what I have put up with for seven years.
Visitors for lunch. Prepared nearly everything yesterday.

K Atie it’s so hard eating when you don’t feel hungry, frustrating for those looking after us.I was the only one who could get DH to eat in his final months but when he decided he’d had enough of life it was impossible to get anything into him, medication, liquid or solid food.  I only wanted Sustagen for weeks after radiation so if your DM is having her protein drink regularly and her oysters she’s doing OK.
Well done Denise, a good report from your hygienist.
Chookie you are doing so well, well done you.

Congratulations Denise. It's wonderful that you can visit again.

MIL often decides that she won't eat. however DD informed her that it would take a very long time, so she may as well eat. She doesn't eat much but she does drink. The poor thing has a problem with fluid retention.

A day in the garden. Zuchinni plants are finished. Small lettuce seedlings need potting up.

Very little being done here. I have the washing on and the rye SD rising. I think I may be needing a nanna nap this afternoon, I haven't had one this week.  ;D ;D

4 loads of washing, 2 lots of bread, 3 x8 lots of lettuce seedlings potted up. Pulled out 3 Zuchinni plants, finished reading Miss Benson’s Beetle. Highly recommended.

I am about to finish my current book, so your recommendation was timely.  I popped over to Amazon to download it onto my Kindle when, to my surprise, I saw a recommendation for this book from one of our customers (also an ex employee).  What a small world.
