You are right, Cookie, it is all very worrying.  For the first time I am looking at getting groceries delivered rather than going just a couple of hundred metres down the street to get the bits and pieces we need.

Marina, sound like you have the basics.
Yesterday I did battle with the computer and won. Normally I would ask GD to fix the mess I had made. Couldn’t do that with lockdown. Good exercise for the brain.

Well done Chookie, a feather in your cap to have worked out your problem.
It’s hard to know what to do in those circumstances Marina, do whatever you feel more comfortable with and hope that the lockdown will not go on for too much longer.

i have been hit with feeling ill yesterday and today , headaches and just not well . Frustrating as so much to do . The thought of cooking sends me into a spin , DS offered to cook last night but he had a Zoom tutorial so I stepped in , cooked steaks on the BBQUE in a nightie and coat ! Luckily I had mine in bed what I could eat of it . Did a shop in the morning, now DS is meant to go back to school , so much food oh well . DH finished planting the crop a few days ago , yippe . DD is doing her uni work ,but there seems to bed a very sleepy person each morning teenagers !!
I don’t like lockdowns ,but I hear that in Canada they have been in lockdown for a year and full lockdown since beginning of the year , boy that changes your perspective on it all . We are going to be lucky if we get away without that , so I’m trying to suck it up as hard as it is on every business and friend I do or do not know .

KAtie i hope you are beginning to feel better.
Lockdowns aren’t fun, and we have been very, very lucky here.
Do take care everyone.

Neighbours for morning tea. Scones and ??? Food issues to consider. Perhaps egg and lettuce sandwiches or mini pizzas.

Absolutely shattered today ... had my first Astra Zenica jag yesterday and one of its side effects is tiredness ... well, I agree with that, I feel like I am sleep walking, I could barely haul myself out of bed this morning.  Wouldn't you know it, though, DH is fine, no tenderness, no nothing negative ... lucky B!.

Luck of the draw I guess Marina, at least you don’t have to go to work so just rest up and maybe DH will wait hand and foot on you today. I hope you start feeling better soon.

I know how you feel Cuilidh, it was the same at our house.

I'm having my hair cut this afternoon.

Lucky you, Margaret, getting a hair cut, I feel my hair is beginning to look a bit like a haystack!

I had my hair cut this morning too Mab. Marina you poor thing. One of my brother's was hit hard by the AZ and the other one got off with nothing. A close friend couldn't get out of bed for 2 days. Take care and rest up.

Re. Astra Zenica reaction - I can think of far worse reactions than wanting to laze around a bit and have the occasional snooze. :D

Yesterday was not the best for me , playing with the kitten resulted in red eyes allergies! Must have forgotten to Wash my hands ! Felt very sad re DM , bonus DD was here to give me a hug .
Last night the power went out all night , DH and DD decided to go to MILs to do their work till 1am , they then woke me having showers and chatting ! Woke up to no power freezing house , cooked porridge on stove and boiled water on stove for a cuppa for DH and I . Power on about 10am . It may go off again as it’s a big outage.

K Atie, the joys of living in the country.!
It is cold.  Temp range today, 0 to 10.
Should be out while it is not raining, but too bl...y cold.
Will instead type up a couple of recipes.
