I had a lady I met at Nikkit's cooking class ages ago come down and we had a sourdough lesson. It was fun and I do hope I helped her.

We had our solar installer come for lunch today.  While here they announced the 6 th lockdown.

Lockdowns seem to be recurring every where. Not us yet, thank goodness. DD arranged our vaccination dates today. Our GP is no longer doing them.

Judy my friend took home a rye bread dough to finish off. She rang late this afternoon to say it was going well and she had enjoyed herself and learnt a lot. It was great fun.

I hope to get into the veggie garden today. Also start some seeds growing for Spring planting.
Another small loaf of bread. I have been using the Bread Machine to do the first rise. Very successful.

That's a good idea Chookie. It would keep the dough warm.
We dug the last heap of sweet potatoes today and DH got a trailer load of compost that we put on the garden. The soil seems to sink down over the years.
My brother  was going to come round but he swapped it until tomorrow.

It’s been a full on week . DD had her iron infusion, she was ok but a bit unwell a few days later. Then a mad dash home before lockdown, unfortunately unable to leave my car for service as planed with a loan car !! Home in time for lockdown. Picked DS up on Friday from boarding a quick shop . Home to wash clean and quiet while DS did on line learning no 6 . We have had so much rain very wet around house and paddocks . One chook laying .

Doing laundry today. I’ve also been watching the Olympics on and off on the TV as well.

I’m not a very sporty person but have loved watching the Olympics. I’m inspired by the dedicated young people who give up so much to reach their goal.
I have had to postpone the painter, builder and gardener, all who were coming next week. This 6 th.  lockdown is very hard for a lot of people. I feel awful as it is their income.
Garden today? I hope so.
I’ve just posted a Spice Mix recipe that tastes like BBQ shapes. Cookie it would be nice on roasted Sweet potatoes.n

I took advantage of the fine weather and washed the linen from 2 beds.

My brother and his partner came today. We took them up to see DD’s house. Up in the Mustang and back in a Model A Ute.

Well dash to return DS back to boarding and school this morning ! Quiet house DH spraying the canola , hopefully before the winds heighten . Stoking the fires to keep warm .

It's cold, wet and very windy here today. I'm finding I have to wash every day so that I can dry the clothes by the heater at night. The temperature has just dropped to 11 and its 11.52am. Cold for us West Aussies.

I imagine it’s been a long time since you’ve had to do that cookie. 

I’ve had my 3 monthly CT scan & results and still all clear after 12 months.  Only 2 more CT scans 6 months apart next year to go now.
