Very good news Judy.  Well done.
Cookie, that is cold for you.
Yesterday was windy but very sunny and pleasant outside. I could feel Spring in the air.  I weeded with the help of the Chooks.  They cluck and carry on.  I’ve set up punnets with seeds to grow for Spring.
Not a lot of cooking.

Judy, I am so, so happy to hear your results.  To me, that 12 months has passed very quickly, but I should imagine it must have seemed such a long time.  Big hug from DH and I.

Cookie, you would have hated it here earlier this morning, it was blowing a gale, fortunately it has calmed down now.

We are just waiting to hear if our lock down is going to be extended ... I suspect it will be, but you never know.

I see that your lockdown has been extended Marina.

Judy that is wonderful news. I'm sure you are thrilled.
I did the grocery shopping this morning.

Such good news Judy , positive strong mindset.
For me Each day gets harder while DD and DS are not here , think I’m really worried about DD ... although she is enjoying being with others and looks so much better , fingers crossed the iron infusion makes her feel a lot better soon .

Thanks Katie. From what I’ve heard iron infusions do work but we Mums do worry about our kids no matter how old they are.

Yes. Mum's always worry KAtie. I have a friend who had an iron infusion and she was vastly improved.

This morning we met my brother and his wife for coffee.

KAtie, RAL had iron infusions for years. Had to go to hospital, lay on bed and they dripped the stuff in.  Now he has an injection twice  a year.  Both work well.

Have started my spring seeds, also sprouts in a jar and planted out some lettuce seedlings.
Have set up a swap with a fisherman.  Salmon caught locally for jam and eggs.

I’m about to do some fairly intensive work in the veggie garden.  I have 3 large bed that have got out of hand.

DD infusion was in hospital for a few hours , in fact the hard part of the day was it was were DM had all her treatments. But we got through that . I must say I’m worried about Covid and also leaving DD there but I’m being strong . Everyone is worried and we are all in this together, everyone is worn down by all of this .
I’m waiting for my broccoli spouts to form  Chookie ,hopefully they eventually produce something.

I had my hair cut this morning. And…….THE SUN IS SHINING. July had something like 28 rainy days.

It’s nice to see the sun cookie, I’ve been out in the garden this afternoon planting out some annuals and spring onions.  Warmer out there than inside.

More garden work. Nice to be able to get outside.
Interesting item in the Guardian newspaper, on bread making. It’s the comment that follow that made me smile. I do not have any time for Stephane Alexander’s bread recipes.  She does not have any feel for bread.  Geoffrey Dunn certainly has. Made bread with him at his cooking school years ago. One of his recipes on my blog.

DH arrived this am in the tractor at the front door to pick me up ! He joked about a date on farmer wants a wife ... ! He thinks it was funny , lucky no one visits now because of Covid .
Rescued Ute with tractor , then off to pick up DS from hockey . Gave DS a new experience, reversal of roles , he did the supermarket shopping while I sat in the car ! Too funny saw his teachers who all said what are you doing , “ shopping for mum “ !! Made me laugh so much .
