Had trouble cleaning out cake/ bread tins. Most seemed to go back. Better luck with cushions. Black bag full. Filled recycling bin for council collection. I’m on a roll.

I'm terrible when it comes to clearing out cupboards.  I put things out and then think I might need that one day so back it goes.  I still have cake tins & recipe books from my Mum and Nanna.  Too much history there with them.  Sewing items are another thing I find hard to let go.

I’m glad that I’m not the only one that has trouble throwing stuff out. I have some dishes that were my Nannas too. Just very old, not valuable.

I did my grocery shopping today. Not only do we have empty shelves from panic buying but now we aren’t getting stock from over east because of the wash aways. I couldn’t buy eggs or chia (even though a lot is grown up on the Ord River here). I couldn’t get any yeast, so DH will have to eat SD bread. I was cross about the eggs as I knew we have several egg producers here.

Frozen vegetables and juices.

Gosh, that’s going to be hard for you cookie. I hope you have good stocks of food in your freezer and pantry.

Cookie, have you tried the smaller stores ... over here during our long lockdowns we went to a Turkish grocer and they had heaps of everything - not the big brand labels but we did not go short on anything because most people didn't think of alternative shops

I had a friend coming for afternoon tea today, instead she arrived at 11 o'clock and so we ate the teacake I had made for later while it was still warm.

That would have been lovely Mab.
I plan to go up to the Italian shop tomorrow and see if I can get eggs.  I will take your advice Marina and see what I can find. Thanks.

Well everyone is on a roll decluttering , I’m still on the floor doing paperwork, but two big councils bins latter is good . Also other stuff but the floor is getting better and now today I think it’s time to sort all the little piles or else I’m going to be in trouble.
The other day I went to bookclub, we have changed it up now . During the day at the person who’s book it is house . Just six of us this time , but I’m still Covid  cautious in fact not really comfortable at all. But it was very good to talk people and be normal .

I had my CT scan today and will see my Encologist on Tuesday. Haven’t been to the city since our football season ended, for some reason I was exhausted by the time I got home.

Thanks Marina, I do become a bit anxious around the time of my scans.
