Thanks for all the nice words about the Cruise. I’m finding being a single woman has certain disadvantages. Ral and I travelled a lot with this couple so it’s nice that they have thought of me.
Just cooking and exercises today.

We had a car run today. It was for cars other than Model A’s that people have. We took out EJ Holden, there was a 1972 Jaguar, a Tesla, an FB Holden and a V8 Model A. Also a few Model A’s came. It’s been a beautiful day.

When we bought this car DH decided it needed a surf board to complete it. This is actually a board used for wind surfing and has a hole in the bottom of it. Looks good though.

Cookie, what great photos. Thanks for taking the trouble to post them.
Yesterday I had friends for lunch and GS for dinner. We had Spag Bol for both meals with garlic bread. ( I made the bread sticks and garlic butter) for lunch, fresh fruit salad and cream, and for dinner, waffles with Maple Syrup and cream.
Today, a day off.

Well one tired person here . DD flew out to Italy at the early hours this morning! 2am at airport!! They left at 5.15 , about now I think land in Dubai . DH and I got to sleep at 4.30 am . It was not an easy day yesterday, DD computer died after being at the computer place for two days . A made dash by me to the city to get the only Apple Mac available at JB HI FI , drive to little Burke st park somewhere and all in 30 mins before it shuts dash to computer man and stay there till 8.30 for data to be transported !! Let’s just say it was madness . DH drove down and cooked us dinner thankfully. Anyway our beautiful girl is heading to Prato Italy to study last semester of her Design degree. Quietly been cleaning washing and tidying up . DH headed home at lunchtime. Don’t worry 3 things went wrong for DD , her car had barely any oil light only came on two days ago ! Fixed added engine oil lesson one DD! Computer malfunction that caused a world of stress for me !( must remember to be calmer) also DD Currency card would not activate! DH fixed it . I’m going to try to eat dinner and not miss the last chaotic day and days !

Phew Katie, I hope you get a good night’s sleep after all that excitement!  What can go wrong did go wrong for your family today. What a wonderful experience for your DD to be able to study her chosen career in Italy.

Gosh KAtie it's all go. I'm sure your DD will love Italy. I had my hair cut this morning and a lot more grey added in. I kind of like it.

Thank you ladies, I’m a little bit sad but totally excited for DD . Went to Ikea to get some over the door peg hanger thing . DD , bless her has a heap of clothes that need to be hung up , so brainwave this will work a treat . Well kind of , nothing is perfect but one less job done . Managed to see the Podiatrist this arvo, thankfully as my heal has a  wart on the edge of it , so when I walk it hurts . Liquid nitrogen this week next week treatment is Cold needling . Then hopefully that works . You are brave Cookie embracing gray hair ! I just pretend that I’m young and fair .

My wisdom is increasing year by year - a bit patchy, perhaps, but that's the way of it.

Well ladies I recently tried coloured mousse in my front hair, the back hasn’t turned grey yet. I like it, it washes out although this morning I didn’t use it and my grey areas are still covered. That’s good as now I know I don’t have to use it every time I wash my hair and the can will last longer. It was an alternative worth trying as I didn’t want to have a permanent colour and have to have the roots re-dyed all the time.
