I feel the same about snakes KAtie. I did the grocery shopping this morning as was chatting to the check out girl about the amount of shop lifting that is going on. She said it is really dreadful.

Today, monthly Probus meeting. Theme was football. Good fun. We sang lots of the team songs.
Then a blood test and then a Dental appointment.
It is freezing, heater on and have dragged Woolies back out.

Yes, a cold change to the weather this week - quite a shock after the lovely weather last week, but with the fire season starting so early any rain (within reason!) is welcome.

Today ventured into town to buy a CPAP machine - now I have to get used to a whole new sleeping experience.

Marina, this is what DD was in Melbourne doing workshops on. She said the difference in technology was quite amazing. You should do fine.
Today I saw the GP about my loss of voice. He has put me on a course of medication for 2 weeks.
My lovely gardener has put a retractable hose on the outside wall. I now won’t trip over the hose.
Today I thought I would spoil myself and have fish and a potato cake for lunch. We chatted away while I waited and when I went to pay, they refused to take my card. They insisted it was on them. Tomorrow I’ll make some Portuguese Tarts and take them some.

How lovely Chookie.
I had lunch with a friend I worked with. We were team teaching for 9 or 10 years. She is now a Principal. It was a lovely catch up. We always miss our friends  who died about 15 months ago.

Cookie, so nice to catch up, but sad when colleagues pass away.

Do you have the same gardener as before, Chookie?  A retractable hose is a great idea. Lovely treat for lunch.

Had a better night on the CPAP last night once DH and I adjusted the mask to fit nicely.  It is virtually silent so he doesn't get disturbed by it.

That’s good Marina.
I had my hair cut today.

Marina, same gardener. He’s a gem, more of a friend really.
Glad you are starting to get used to your breathing device. The old ones were pretty inconvenient..
Yesterday I attended the Gym , had morning tea with people from Gym. Had lift serviced in afternoon and made a loaf of bread in bread machine from new book. I also fiddled with a recipe to make an Anchovy spread. Instead of butter I used Alyce‘S imitation butter and added Tuna and Anchovy fillets. Not quite as good but ok.

I’ve been experimenting with a couple of appliances. The bread machine both kneads and proofs the bread. ( as well as baking) The proportions of ingredients are different to TMX or hand made bread. Yesterday I put the ingredients for No Fuss Bread into the bread machine. I set it on Dough. It produced a beautiful soft dough which I formed into 3 bread sticks which I baked in the oven. This is a good solution in our cold climate. Also the timing is predictable.

KAtie it sounds like you are having a 1000km check up. I did a bit of housework today.
