LOL Cookie, it does sound a bit like that. K Atie it’s good to get all these appointments done and dusted, they take up so much of our time. Enjoy your catchup lunch with your friend tomorrow.

Yesterday very social. I’ve been meeting some very nice people.
I’ve artificial lawn around the Garden inside the fence. I put straw on the flower beds to conserve water. The birds and wind blow some straw onto the grass. It looks awful. I sweep it up but can’t get all the little bits. So yesterday I vacuumed it with my Dyson Stick vacuum. Did an excellent job.

I can relate to that Chookie. I once had flower petals all over one end of my front lawn and used my old Hoover upright to vacuum them up. My neighbours were just coming up the street and thought it was hilarious. Have you tried a very stiff broom for the straw, I use one to collect leaves that fall and bark that the birds kick out (starlings are the worst offenders). The small stiff broom is much better than a rake. I bought the red broom from Cheap as Chips, it’s actually a child’s broom but is perfect for artificial grass.

I caught up on some smaller jobs today, like making more veggie stock and some much needed jam.

Judy, I also bought a cheap broom. It’s good but doesn’t get everything . Thanks for the photo.
Still got a husky voice. Don’t think it’s an allergy. May be Reflux. So on pills and diet. No fat, onion, garlic , caffeine or tomatoes. Several small meals a day. Smoothies and soup , with a small meal of fish or chicken. Can have oats for breakfast or poached or scrambled egg on Wholemeal toast. I ve been through my blog and there are several recipes that I can use.

Good choices Chookie, I’d miss my 2 - 3 cups of coffee a day though.

Snap Cookie, I did our supermarket shopping today too.

Chookie, I.m sorry to hear that you are having trouble with reflux, I know exactly how you feel.  After my recent visit to hospital I was given medication for my oesophegus problems as well as my reflux problem.  The medication has made life a little bit better but I still can't always keep my food down and I usually wake up 3 - 4 times a night with reflux.  It doesn't make for a very restful night.  I'm seeing my specialist again next week so it's wait and see.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Mab, thanks for that information. I’m sorry to hear yours is so severe and far more complicated than mine. I’ve had reflux for years and had been successfully treated. This new episode has been horrific. After two weeks of meditation and diet, thankfully it seems to be improving. I found that I was taking the medication incorrectly. The chemist had put the wrong instructions on the pills.
I’ve read everything available on reflux and am considering Aloe Vera which is taken before meals. 1/2 a cup.
I do miss my morning Coffee.

It sounds like so many of us are struggling with health problems at the moment, I do hope everything settles down for you all soon.  Happily I have adapted well to using my CPAP this time and am starting to sleep really well at night after many years of sleepless or disturbed nights.

Chookie I thought you had found a new way to treat your problem when I read ‘After two weeks of meditation and diet’ LOL. How did you pick up on the fact that the pharmacist had written the wrong info on your script?

Marina I’m so glad you are sleeping well, we don't function properly if we don’t get a good night’s sleep and if you’ve gone years like that then you will be a new woman in no time.
