Not a lot today as I'm having some tummy troubles.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Mab that isn’t good. I hope you improve quickly.

I had my hair cut today. The lass that owns the salon does my hair and is lovely. She was down today as she has just received a breast cancer diagnosis. I really felt for her.

Crutching today ! So organised food . Day of lots of jobs , the aircon in the shearing shed kitchen was not working so I had to climb up on the bench and clean the filters ! Unfortunately it’s not going to work as the outside units fan was not moving . The boys decided to harvest so I made dinner to go and then piloted them ( boys drove the header and tractor chaser bin ) to next farm . We had to stop mid move as the rams had escaped ! Now this involved DH extremely concerned they had got in with the ewes ! Paddock Darby driving skills involved for me . I have a new role Ram chaser ! Had to do some washing for a shearer! Meanwhile now it’s 12.30 am and the boys are still out there harvesting! Could be an all nighter . I’ll try to get some sleep , sad my bedroom tv died and I’m unable watch the tennis .

Mab, hope you are ok.
KAtie, busy as ever.
Cookie , love your car runs.
Took neighbours boys and their GF ( who speaks no English ) to an animated film, Migration. We went to Mc Donald’s first , then Cinema, then for Pizza. Fun day. Today, last security screen to be measured and then Hairdresser.

Gosh boys in at 4am . Lightning thunder. Not much sleep for me . Now no power , must have been the storm. Shears are here with no power . Another day full of challengers .

That was a tough day K Atie, that storm wasn't so bad down here.

Lucky neighbours' boy and friend, Chookie!

Took DH to surgeon, he has two small basal cell carcinomas on his nose.  Operation next Friday - his skin grafts will come from his forehead area - it's just good luck he has very little hair up there ;D

I’m sure your DH will be fine Marina. His skin grafts will probably be the sorest part. I don’t like BCC’s much either.
Last night I had a car club meeting. Fortunately it wasn’t late. I’m getting past enjoying driving at night.

Last night I demanded that DH have a very early night ! He listened so glad as super tired . Finally had a meal together at the table ! Not happy with the rain but we still managed to crutch the sheep . Although it’s Australia Day , lucky we are still crutching today . BBQue lamb chops for all at lunch . DS did a bit of crutching and helped drag the Rams to the shearer’s ( they shore them on the last run ! All finished for a few weeks so the  Men out harvesting the last of the wheat . Paddock dinner drop off . I even squeezed in watching tennis legend N D lose this arvo .

Not a lot today. DD is having her usual reaction to her Covid vaccination so she was interested in meeting for coffee.

GS cleaned all my windows. Took all day. Excellent . I cooked .
Made 40 crumpets, sweetcorn fritters, GF And LF. Chicken pies, chicken soup and a tasty strange chicken dish with chips on the base, then cubed chicken ( cooked , cold) bacon ( cooked)  then gravy then cheese. All heated in AF. Strange but worked.

Well yet another late night for the men , bonus they finished the Wheat . Home 10.30 pm and rather hungry ! I did offer to take dinner out but DH said. It would be fine , think they must have put all the machinery away . I watched the woman’s single final , not a bad match but certainly not that engaging. Such young players at 21 winning , another era happening.
