Collected a box of tomatoes and then off to shops to get spices etc . DGF and I started the prep for tomato relish ! Skinning the tomatoes then chopping them and chopping up the onions . Sorted out the amounts of other ingredients for DGF to cook in the morning! Home late to finished of jobs and cook dinner . Boys had gone to collect the new canopy for DS Ute ( it’s like a box that goes on the tray ). Today we will collect the Ute and DS have a haircut and hopefully get some clothes . I’ll do a proper shop . When I was shopping no malt /brown vinegar anywhere, lucky I had got a few at home to use for the tomato relish. Hopefully todays shop ( different place will have some ) I remember this last year there was a shortage.

Good timing with the A/C Cookie.
I’ve started cleaning the silver. Ral alway did this. I’ve found doing jobs like this after dinner suits my timetable.
Chinese New Year today. Ballarat like Bendigo had an influx of Chinese miners during the Gold Rush. They later turned into market gardeners. One of our local Chinese Restaurants has a dish called Birds nest with combination sea food. Might have a go.

Having an unusual weekend this weekend. Covering for our Chinese employee at work today so he can enjoy Lunar New Year with family and friends; Melbourne's Pride party is happening on our street tomorrow - always a fun day with lots of 'interesting' sights and people having a great time relaxing and enjoying themselves with no aggro, which is what makes the day so much fun, then tomorrow and Monday catching up on work and doing lots of personal shopping and prepping for my cousin who is flying in from Scotland at midnight on Tuesday night.

Didn’t get around to making the Birds nest. Visitors all day.
Busy week ahead so preparing today, cooking, washing and finishing large pieces of silver cleaning.

Another warm day ahead . Stressing now as DS leaves soon and really he has a lot of packing and jobs to do . Last night he spent a lot of time with the canopy ( box ) to go on his use to fit a fridge inside it . DH is worn out trying to get lots of harvest equipment cleaned and put away ! Lucky DS is helping . We are feeding lambs too so most nights DH is out doing this .

Back to Tai Chi. Certainly good to do a structured programme. Our class has been invited to appear on Q and A. Not my scene at all.

Yes I’m going to miss DS . We went to hardware store to get stews and beading for DS canopy ( inside layout work ) . Also some Adblue for my car ( this stresses me out when it comes up saying to add it , just annoying but no way do I drive the car if it says to add it , a timing this due to doing a late service!!) so hot today .

What type of car do you have KAtie? Our new motorhome will need to have Adblue. We have diesel vehicles, but none need ad blue. DH's and DD's have diesel particulate filters but mine is older and doesn't'.
