I don't know if I would exactly call this a red letter day, but yesterday I went all day without my moonboot on (the first time since early March), my horrible leg brace on my left leg went into the bin and ... my first time going shopping since the end of April - only to Coles, so not really thrilling, but it was good to feel relatively normal at last.  Then today - my first 'stand up' shower without aids since the end of April!!  I am slowly getting back to normal at last.

It’s the greatest feeling to feel normal after so long Marina, onwards and upwards from here.

You’ve become our Queen of jam making Chookie. Interesting coffee afternoon cookie.

I’ve had a social day today, kids visited then I visited Katie and another friend in the afternoon. Had lots of rain overnight/early morning.

Marina it’s definitely a red letter day. One you will remember for a while. Congratulations on all the achievements.

After all the happiness and excitement of "firsts" of Thursday and Friday this week - the worst weekend of the year came around, as it inevitably does - stocktake weekend at work.  I HATE stocktake - it takes at least two days to count everything - c. 4,000 individual items, then it takes about the same amount of time to manually download everything into the accounts program - unfortunately we have not yet found a suitable program to to this work for us.  Ah well, it will all be over by the middle of the week, and, loathe it as I do, I am relieved that I was able to get the first bit of the physical count over and done with ... now onto downloading everything into the computer.

Marina, that’s wonderful that you are getting back to normal. I suppose Stock taking is also part of that.
Judy, I was wondering if you got the rain. It feels like -3 here at the moment.

Had a Telehealth with Osteo Dr ! I’ve been on Prolia injections every 6 months for over 8 years !! Now they have different ideas so I’ll be changing to an infusion possibly. Amazingly I’ve improved my levels since diagnosis of Osteo but it’s still bad . meanwhile I have to find a way to do whatever it is -impact exercise. He mentioned Kiser exercises. If I have a fracture at any stage this will change what happens . The joys ! This is the best thing I heard on the weekend, “we are at a delicate age “ so true , beautifully said .

Probus monthly meeting today. May stay for lunch. In the past I haven’t stayed as the food at the  venue has been awful. I think they have a new menu and chef.
One of the Probus monthly highlights has been the film and lunch. The theatre has closed, much to the surprise of most in Ballarat.

I heard that that theatre had closed, Chookie.  It is a great shame.  Was it the only one in Ballarat?

I hate seeing local cinemas closing, I hope they have a change of mine and that the community supports them Chookie. Ours has survived because of the ongoing support from locals, with tickets only $10  for everyone how can you not support it.

My six monthly visit to my Oncologist and the sun is out for my 20 minute walk from the train, can’t ask for more than that.

Sorry K Atie, it’s been years since I’ve moved posts and I ended up in a right mess this time. Hopefully you can now post again. Will leave things alone in the future LOL, sorry for any inconvenience everyone.
