Saw my dietician today and have now started the FODMAP challenges after 4 weeks on the elimination diet. Being away for the last week of that was difficult but not impossible and I wasn’t surprised to have lost 1/2 kg. No health problems at all on that elimination diet so now to see if we can track down the culprit(s).

Well done Judy. That will be interesting.
I’ve joined the local library on line. I’ve cancelled my Kobo plus account, ( I think) they didn’t make it easy.
I found a book by Sarah Raven. Good, Good Food. I love her recipes.

DIL finally has power so she called in for coffee this morning and took home the frozen items that she had in my freezer.

A friend visited yesterday and brought silver beet and rhubarb from her garden.

My floors were looking ghastly. (Cream tiles). I vacuumed them extra well and scrubbed them. Then I needed a nanna nap. 😀😀

I caught up on the pile of ironing. It seemed enormous but was only for a week. DH seems to have heaps of good shirts nowadays as work shirts don’t get ironed.

I went out to do a bit of shopping today and picked up a brochure on the Seniors Festival which is held every year.  I only had time to flip through it quickly and one particular event caught my eye ... a visit to a cemetery  :-\

Marina, interesting. Our Probus group is  going to Melbourne on the train during Seniors Week to attend an Annual Company reporting meeting. I’m not going as I’m looking after my neighbours boys. Free train tickets.

I also noticed on the Seniors Week programme there was a presentation by Norman Swan - I must look into that one, I am sure it will be interesting.

I had a chuckle at the cemetery visit Marina. As long as they plan to bring you home.

We had notification about midday that our motorhome was here and we could arrange to pay and when to pick it up. We went to the bank but found that they had closed permanently at midday. 😡😡😡😡😡😡 No other branches open for about 100km. We weren’t happy. Fortunately we could use another bank account. I will be closing this account as all Bankwest banks are closing permanently. Not good when you need a cheque or similar.
We paid for the ‘new house on wheels’ and will pick it up on 24 September at 10am. It will take about 2 hours to show us how all the things work.
It’s very exciting.
