Mandy...we have 3 eggs just now with little peck holes  :D  I love seeing them hatch!

Hubby informs me we have to fill out a 14 page tender for the shire...due tomorrow!  >:(  of course, had no ink....so mad dash to buy some.....so came home to discover there's bees in my house  :o  they've come in through the fireplace, checked outside, and they are buzzing around the chimney.  Hope they buzz off soon!
Luckily, they flock to the window, so my shoes have been getting a work out - SPLAT!  ;D
Ooohhh Maddy, windows to clean now as well.  :-\

Child free day today so tidying my house. Having 4 of them all day tomorrow and my cleaner in the afternoon.
Hopefully tomorrow afternoon will be sunny and dry and we can picnic in the park while my cleaner makes my house sparkle :)

How often does your cleaner come MF?
I've just started getting a cleaner (bit of a luxury as there is only DH & myself - no grandies yet) and she comes fortnightly.
Would like weekly really.

Sure is  :)  it really is set and forget.  Only had to top up with water once, and it turns the eggs automatically.
Once they dry off, they are then really cute  ;)

So the poor little thing thinks the machine is his Mummy  :P   Bit lonely being the first out of the egg, what do you do with him now maddy?

Why do you need water? The machine washes the eggs or the chickens  ???
I'm obviously not a country girl. Just been dumped in the middle of nowhere and muddle through.  :-\

The water is for keeping the humidity at a certain temperature for them to grow and survive in the egg.
They can stay in the incubator until they dry off, then we pop them into a nesting box, with lamps for heat, until they are much bigger and stronger.
