I went to the Triathlon WA AGM tonight. They were drawing 20 names of financial members at the meeting for priority entry into next years Busselton Ironman 70.3.

There were about 40 people there so I had a 50% chance of winning one of the spots. However luck was not with me and I missed out. Oh well. I will have to take my chances with the other 2600 people trying for one of 1600 places when the registrations pen in a few weeks.

Indeed, best wishes Den. I couldn't imagine doing a triathlon, I'm a very sedentary person.

My DH is the cleaner now (that I am working full time) he does the vacuuming each week and some washing. My DS does the sheets and many other little things.

I just need to say my DH is brilliant around the house, and I love it.  This morning he did ALL the folding, and put all the clothes, sheets, towels away, before work. :)

He does more than me, but I do 99% of the cooking.

My DH and I both work, so we share the cleaning and all the house-hold chores.
We both hate cleaning, but we get stuck in together and get it done.

We used to have a cleaner, but she got a full-time job and quit cleaning (we stupidly decided not to replace her).

It's great that you work so well together Katie - more time for fun things then.

Not long now Hally, bet you are getting excited.

I'm quite happy to clean our house :) I'm the sort of person to clean something as soon as its dirty, so any mess is never usually too bad ;)

You sound like me Amy.... tho I am always cleaning with 3 kids!! ;)

I wish I could have afforded a cleaner when all my kids were young as that's when I really needed it  :(

But better late than never and really love coming home to a clean sparkling house on a Friday  :D

Today so far I went outside...BIG mistake as it was SO hard to come back inside!! I hung my wash while I was out there so not totally wasted time! Played with my pre-schoolers, pushed them on the swings, went down the slide etc (was great fun, I must admit!!) Finally came inside when miss20mths needed the toilet, she is now sleeping and I have been cooking with miss3! We have so far made heart-shaped pizza pockets and pizza scrolls, have a small pizza cooking in the oven now and bread dough rising. Cleaned up the kitchen, then will make some pizzas for the freezer and tonight's tea. And we had a friend call in so had morning tea with her.  :) So far a very enjoyable day!  ;D ;D ;D
