Gert you make me laugh so hard. Great to end the day with a giggle and lots of images running through my head. ;)

Gert, too funny.
And true my sister trained on oranges too. c1968.
Never completed her training due to back injury sustained while training.

Today did lots of cooking, washing, ironing and food shopping.
DH sorted garage.

Went for a cold wet 20km bike ride this morning which I backed up with a fast 5km run.  Now stuck sitting at work for the rest of the day. Looking forward to going home tonight and doing  some cooking.

I averaged 29.7 km/h on the bike and the 5km took me just under 25 min. I averaged 4:55/km. I am pretty pleased with that pace coming off the bike.

I feel like I am ready for the Dumbleyung Tri this Saturday.

Morning all. Had a good sleep no dreams of Gert!
Den you are putting the rest of us to shame, well done.
Housework day here and the vacuum cleaner just bit me. :( Going to be a slow day.

Nice pace Den, you'd sure give me a run for my money ;) Good luck at the Tri, I wish I could go :(

Kimmy, I'm glad you had Gert-free dreams! ;D Not sure about your vicious vacuum cleaner :-))

I don't understand the fuss about needles either Gert - I occasionally donate blood and for me, the pin prick on the finger to check your blood sugar hurts more than the needle!
So yesterday we started the day with a snake in the playground, and ended it with a gecko in the lounge room (brought in by the cat)... I kept thinking it was lucky it wasn't the other way round, i.e. snake in the lounge room etc  ;D
I'm working from home today, so sneaking on here and printing out recipes in between calls and doing reports.

Deedub, yes.

The prick in the finger is way worse than a needle in the arm, or giving blood.
My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.

I'm sure they use a blunt needle to do the finger prick  :D
I would much rather skip that bit and just donate blood, which reminds me that I must ring up and make an appointment as i had to cancel the last one as I was sick, and that was months ago.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!
