I walked into JB Hi Fi today. Knew exactly what I wanted to buy cp. Asked this dude, piercings, tats etc. trying to act like a hip cool happening mum, yep after skylander giants, beauty got that out, he says cool which platform, which plartform, mmm I am thinking oh how nice maybe they have one with the  pictures of the planets on, or sea life etc, my mind is running wild. I open my mouth, very bad move, managed to,say the planets, got realy weird look, he said now which platform do you need, now mind running wild, I dont need a platofrm, so I say I just want skylander giants portal pack,  yes but what platform, had to confess I didnt have a clue what he was talkng about. He meant did I need it for wii, playstation etc.

Lol ;D

That guy works in the Cairns JB too . Or maybe his twin. No wait I think they are clones of the same guy everywhere in JB! Or you must have tats and piercings to work there. Yeh that must be a must.

Hally,  some advantages in being older.  They think you are their granny and then take it from there.  Love it ,  they usually can't do enough to help.

Cooking, cooking, cooking and typing for DH.

My CRB clearance came through so if there are absences from me I could be working. Nearly sent on a job tomorrow but only got email 10 mins ago.
Could go anywhere for any length of time to an age child...
Oh well could be fun.

Was told this morning, nothing until next week. So am having day out tomorrow with DH and DS.

Good luck with the nannying job DJ - does it mean overnight stays at all?  Gosh, I'd be so scared of getting a little monster to care for  ;D

I had to have a fasting blood test this morning. I think the vampire was an apprentice. She took three goes to finally get it right. She was apologetic but the first two still hurt. When she finally got it right I hardly felt it.

Tonight we are supposed to be going to Perth to see WASSO performing Rogers and Hammerstein sons. I can't remember who the singers are but it should be good. I just hope DW feels better by this afternoon. She stayed home from work sick wit a stomach wog and a migraine.

Den, sometimes they don't have any success and have to send patients away to come back later.  I know last time I went for blood tests they were almost at this stage as all my veins had gone into hiding - I don't normally have this trouble but I had forgotten to drink some water that morning which apparently helps them find veins.

I hope you don't miss out on the show, it would be a remarkable recovery though if DW can make it.  I always have plan B as a back-up as this happens to us from time to time for one reason or another.  In fact, I have stopped making such bookings these days because of it.

I hope DW feels better for the concert! :-\
