Dede how do you expect to get washing dry in this weather.  Straight onto the clothes horse for me over the heating duct. But I guess with 7 of you the house would be full of wet clothes.  Its Bl***y cold here, it must be quiet FRESH  down there.

I've just caught up with the bad news.
Wonder, I'm so sorry to hear about your brother. Wishing you strength to get through the next week and beyond, and with your dry July endeavour. My DH and I are going to attempt a dry July too when it gets difficult, I'll think of your brother.
Astarra, you are in my thoughts today, as it is a terrible thing to go through. Nothing prepares you for the devastation you feel when being told that there is no heartbeat. I'm even tearing up now, as I post this. Keep your family close and accept all the hugs you can.

I'm supposed to be working but caught another cold so working from home - DD9 also sick with it. My study overlooks the street, so I'm amusing myself by watching the 'vultures' pick over the hard rubbish my next door neighbour has put out this morning. So far I haven't seen anyone take anything - obviously not good stuff!

I've managed to avoid any of the dreaded lurgies going around. Probably because I haven't been at school.

Today I've been making Real Raspberry Jelly and Hazelnut Chocolate Spread. Cleaning my house in between. Then I must go over to my workshop and make some Hand & Body Lotion.

This morning I picked DH up from the panel beaters (he took a friends car in for her) and this afternoon I have an appointment to have yet another skin cancer removed, from my leg this time. Perhaps my specialist will say I have to rest and go on the foum for 3 days.  Ha ha ha, I very much doubt it.
